Hello Dolly, Louis Armstrong live at the BBC in 1968. A joyful sound.
The recording was not released until May this year.

Always look on the bright side of life.... As long as we dont draw Barnet at home in the cup.........dont think I've ever seen us lose 15-0. Not the end of the earth though is it.......always look on the bright side of life.

Don't really do jolly music but anything by the Clash, T Rex and Mott the Hoople usually works.
Saying that Birthday by the Sugarcubes always makes me think of warm summer days ☀️☀️☀️

This has proved easier than I expected:
Fiesta - The Pogues (although I read that Shane MacGowan wasn't so keen on it) Girls Just Want To Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper Shiny Happy People - REM (again, not something they were so enthused about) Love Train - The O'Jays (What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding - Brinsley Schwarz (or Nick Lowe, or Elvis Costello)
and of course: Rock Lobster - The B52s (the band that looks the most fun to have been part of)
