That's ok. At home. Winnable.
Bring on a bigger team in Rds 2 and 3. Never many glamour ties to be had at this stage.

With the Mark Stallard connection I can see this as being nailed on for live TV coverage.

its clever the way they use the north & south draws to cut down on travelling for sides couple of good examples Exeter v Walsall Charlton v Birmingham

What would you suggest? Devising the country into 4 or 8 areas, and having an even more narrow range of fixtures like the Pizza Trophy, or whatever it’s called this season?

I could be regionalised more of course, I know its never easy however its done but its bizarre why they feel the need to draw a line with an even number of sides on each half, would it have been the end of the world to throw Birmingham & walsall into the north section and have more sides in the north ?

I would divide the kingdom into 8 regions called ‘slices’: pepperoni, Hawaiian, diavola, margherita, capricciosa, prosciutto e rucola, pollo e funghi, Quattro formaggi. Each slice would ensure away matches were no more than 15 miles away for each franchise. Each franchise must field no fewer than 9 outfield players from their nearest Premier League club’s academy. It would be named the Pizza Trophy, just as you suggest.
