We just need a Maguire to cross the ball for him now

In the current context it's reasonably promising that we've beaten Doncaster to his signing, whether it's better wages or the prospect of third tier football or both.
The last time Hurst signed an attacking midfielder I'd never heard of on a two year deal it worked out alright, let's hope for similar.

Last box to box Midfielder we signed was Kenneh , turned out to be pizza box to pizza box π
Oh well decent stats for last season , we need him to repeat that π

Seems as a decent a signing we can probably hope for under the current circumstances

Much better signing than I expected us to make this summer.

Assist and goals! And by the sounds of it gets in and around the box which we desperately need after being so low on goals on the last few seasons.

A big welcome to Shrewsbury Harrison. You were no doubt attracted for the chance to wear the magnificent loggerheads badge on your chest.

Welcome to Salop Harrison. I thought he looked quite useful in the playoffs against Crewe (he scored in the away game). His father Wayne was a very decent striker for Stoke at one time.

In anticipation of some hard graft, Haughmond Hill to be renamed Biggin Hill.
I haven't put my Β£5 on a top half finish yet, better hurry up before the bookies spot what we are doing.....

Surprised at this one. Doubt we can offer more than Donny, and they will expect to be at top end next season.
Can't see him as the sitter in midfield, and not sure Winchester either, so expect Biggins to the attacking midfielder. Replacing Bayliss I suppose. At least 5 league goals in each of the last 3 seasons. If he can produce close to last season, 8 goals and 5 assists then will be very pleased with that.
Welcome Harrison!
A little flurry of signings. Much welcome, and earlier than I expected really, with another 3 weeks left on most players contracts. Long way to go with the squad but feel the team is taking some sort of shape

Hopefully get a few more in over the next few days, sure Hurst will be eager to get them super fit with some gruelling stuff over Haughmond π³

Yes you do get the feeling that its Hurst doing the recruiting this year. Things feel much more positive. Guess Moore is involved somewhere too else he needs to go.

Iβm sure he will e doing the paperwork and will be involved in the nitty gritty negotiations with agents, etc.
The coach spots them, tells him, he gets the deal done while the coach moves on to the next spotting.

How are we already deciding if these signings are or arenβt awful?
On the surface of it this looks like a downgrade on Bayliss, some past experience at this level with Fleetwood then dropped back into league two. But as always itβs how he fits and in and contributes here thatβll determine if heβs a good signing or not. Good luck to him.

The fact is we are where we are. We all know it's going to be a struggle, so this is a good little signing. It's got to be the hardest position to fill at any level, especially when you have to watch the pennies. The key this season will be how we get on with the loan signings from clubs in the facininity and Birmingham being in our league doesn't help our coarse. Could do with two right backs keeper's and forwards..

On last seasons performances he couldn't even get in the team so it's nearly impossible to downgrade. From what I've seen online he is dominate at set peices, good in the air, works his ass off but is limited if required to pick up defensive duties.
