So when I'm settling down for the evening and its getting close to bed time I'm often found listening to some sort of music, trolling through whatever takes my fancy for that night.
The ads are annoying (refuse to pay the £10 pm to be ad free) so just about put up with them.
But im taken squarely by surprise tonight to see Sean Davies, Labour candidate for Telford telling me why it's time for a change...... Go on, just tell me it's totally a coincidence 😲

Go on, just tell me it's totally a coincidence 😲 My current MacBook is about 6 years old now but has an amazing feature , a touchbar , cost £500 extra for this facility , Unbeknown to me at the time it was worth every penny as amongst other things I can skip a YouTube ad instantly , I'll miss it next time I upgrade as they no longer make macs with the touch bar on it Maybe source a 2nd hand one , it will be better value than a new pc 👍

I don't care for Politics,
but there are adblockers that you can use on YouTube, they come and go and YT does eventually realise you are using such things but you can rotate around between 2 or 3 of the better ones and you keep ahead of the game.

If you use a pc, download a youtube adblocker extension. Free, no more ads, sorted. Last time I looked there were a few to choose from. Unfortunately not available for mobiles yet.

There is an app called "FAB AdBlocker Browser:Adblock" for mobiles.
I've been using it for years.

Ads are of course targeted locally at times, as with almost all media I guess I'm well behind the times on what is available these days. I understand that ads are targeted to whatever area they want to get to but I'm still amazed that the local Labour candidate can target me (and anyone else in the Telford area too no doubt) can get to address his message to us via such means. He wouldnt get the chance if he knocked on my door as it would be closed quicker than it was opened. And I was unlikely to vote on before, now he has tried to get his message across via an ad on my phone he has got less than zero chance of my vote. Bye Sean.

What a silly guy trying to reach out to his constituency , 🤔

One can assume by the same logic then you refuse to wipe your bottom because of those small puppy labradour retrievers, and refuse to even contemplate eating chocolate because of a drum kit playing gorilla?

If anyone wants a wonderful adblocker try uBlock origin, been great for years for me and Ads on youtube only become a problem when I'm on the iPad.
