Could see them with the naked eye over Shrewsbury about 11.45 last night - lovely purple and pink colour, and more blues and greens if you took a slow exposure on the phone camera
Always wanted to see them and expected to have to head to Lapland to see them, so something of a bonus to see them over Bayston Hill

All colours staggeringly visible to the naked eye from Lyth Hill, aided by a couple of hours adjusting my eyes to the dark. Expected to pick up a faint glow through my camera at best!

Anyone seen them tonight?
We went out from Telford to Lilleshall and were clearly visible via phone, first time I've ever seen them. Plenty of photos from around the county abd beyond on FB.

I've never seen then, one of the things I most want to see too, must try harder I've seen photos tonight from up Lyth Hill about 7.30-8, as well as from most parts of the county. Seems it's died down a bit now but possibly back later in the night or the next few nights. Can't see much with naked eye just a slight red / green glow. Point your phone to the sky on night mode and they will be quite clear if they are showing. If you are on Facebook there is an Aurora group where you can get views, photos from around the country and ideas of when they might occur.

Predictions are for another showing later in the night so keep your eyes open for a red/green glow. It's nothing much more than that at our latitude, point your camera phone towards it and you will see it much clearer.

Brilliant . Saw your post after England game and me and my good lady went out in the back garden looking toward Shawbury from BictonVillage. Great view as the night sky changed from red to green with high lighted streaks just about visible. Thanks for that. Got to go now out the front as they have moved around the sky.๐

Wasn't quite obvious to the naked eye in Belle Vue but took some photo's and they came out really well. I've seen loads online, including a few from the top of Lyth Hill which were nice, however I took the dog up there for walk around 6 and it was cold enough then so didn't fancy going back up later on!
