Semi pro National League. Quite the drop, but fair play to him for going for it, as let's face it he probably wasn't going to get much better after 2 rather brief failed spells in EFL.

Is Matt Taylor the new at Wealdstone? Yes he is. Is he trying to improve the club and improve performances? Of course he is. Do I sound like a broken record. Yes I do. Listen, look it's going to be a hard season but we've got to stick to the group and do the fundamentals.

Good luck to him, but I was slightly worried he was going to be appointed at Worthing.

All the best. I have a soft spot for Wealdstone after their outstanding hospitality on our way to Wembley. Proper grasroots football club and you could argue punching above their weight.

I personally wish him well, he'd always come across quiet rationale in victory or defeat (which it mainly was) but I think he may have been 'hung out to dry' here a little bit.

Marcus Bignot not joining him then. Don't think SC took his town assistant to Forest Green either.

Think Wilbraham was on a podcast and said he wasnt sure coaching/management was for him and he might go into being an agent. Bignot I think was coaching a much smaller club but can't recall where, and probably only on interim basis. He was Moore's man though I think, not sure Taylor had ever worked with him before. But yeah neither of them are like the Hurst-Doig duo who have been coaching together for over a decade now

It's actually a good appointment for Wealdstone I reckon. Good luck to both Wealdstone and MT's career.
