Okenabehrie another one who I thought did well here, Ricketts did at least cash in on him and he's been injury prone but I was sorry to see him go. I remember a hat-trick in a losing cause I think against Bradford 3-4 Lyle Taylor is more like it! He was epic against us at our place.

Charlie Caton still under contract so staying with Chester. After a decent loan and bright start to the season looks like he very much faded. Last goal was December and seemed to struggle to make the team in the last few months

A few years ago yes… Admittedly he did well at the Croud a few months back, but that seems to have been it for him & their fans fell out with him. If we wanted a senior striker I’d pray we go all out for James Collins , you’d hope Derby won’t see a place for him being 34 in the championship. He has just scored something like 18 goals mind.

Harry Chapman & Luke Hendrie released by Bradford. Chapman had a decent loan spell with us... And otherwise has done p**s all. Scored more league goals with town in a couple of months than he has in the rest of his career put together. Hard no

Joe Jacobson released by Wycombe.
Had a feeling he had a benefit match recently and must have has best part of 10 years with them. Should never have been allowed to leave Town.

In my opinion Mike Jackson probably had considerable input in the decision to release Jacobson.

Wasn't there an interview somewhere recently with Jacobson?...thinking the O/S? Jacobson said he wanted to stay and Mellon asked Jackson his opinion as Mellon hadnt seen him play.Jackson said release him!..🙄.

Thanks guys.....Jackson must have had welding glasses on,when he was watching Jacobson!!!🤦🤦🤦 Totally agree, particularly as Jacobson had finished the season as captain and community player of the year. Add to that he had started to use his wand of a left foot to score from free kicks.

Going back to Abo Eisa strangely one of those guys on paper that wouldn't look like much of a signing but from what I can remember of him playing under Hurst - could actually be quite good, especially with a much wider pitch.

Got a feeling he was sent back early when on loan for punching Mike Jackson on the team coach, but maybe my memory?

Michael Hector, remember him?,released by Charlton Non town related but I see Wickham also gone. Still an excellent player at this level if he can keep himself fit. Bit surprised he's not got a new deal

Had s brilliant game on left wing but helped by Notts County not marking him at all. Talking to Grimsby fans who clearly knew their stuff he is still really good or subbed after an hour for having gone missing for whole game
