Still struggling to see whether this is just for UK viewers and whether iFollow will still show games for those overseas but anyhow... Sky Sports agrees new five-year EFL dealGames still can't be shown live on the Saturday 3pm slot by the look so I gather that means loads of games are going to moved about over the weekend.  |

Overseas (and some non overseas  supporters) will still get a audio /visual option for Saturday 3pm games. |

Well I hope iFollow continues. It’s the only way I can get commentary on Saturday afternoon and replay of matches.
I will not ever use Sky so that will be me gone.

Friday or Monday nights even worse When this was announced earlier it said every League 1 and League 2 side would have a minimum of 5 games on Sky so those will be moved. |

As far as I can make out (and very much hope) not much will be changing for overseas users. I did take a good read over the EFL article of which there is very little mentioned in terms of the overseas stuff but it does seem to suggest no changes. So as for those in the UK I imagine a VPN will (allegedly) help!
I wonder if perhaps the iFollow stream will benefit from the additional camera angles from sky or not though...

Not every club will play on Good Friday , Easter Monday, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day cos that would equate to 138 of the 248 matches? Add to that a couple of mid week games each and that’s another 48 It can’t mean what it says? |

Surely ‘greater parity’ can be achieved by dividing the TV money by the number of teams. It seems, every match will be recorded, some shown live but the rest available to stream similar to iFollow via audio in this country (or VPN) and live abroad. I suppose the imbalance will be the numbers streaming the non live matches. |

I saw Andy Holt from Accrington said he was pleased it was a return to a collective deal. There is a statement about the number of times a club is shown live being shared more evenly, so we’ll like be on a few times, with a moved kick off time ☹️ |

I doubt it it's not just midweek though, it's anything that isn't 3pm on Saturday isn't it? And sounds like there will be more of them. Possibly they would want to get rid of the whole thing to maximise any potneiral revenue. Ifollow would still exist for international audiences by the sounds of it so the tech/account side would remain |

So we moan about the PL but for those clubs coming down or yo-yo-ing between Champ and L1 there's going to be another big wedge going to Champ clubs over L1 and L2.
Basically it's becoming 2 closed leagues above us.

From the 2024/25 season onward, this new deal with Sky Sports will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic video streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services Audio services will remain domestically, alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences. |
