Just watched a very good documentary on West Hams move a few years ago from Upton Park to the London Stadium. Got me thinking on just how much the matchday experience changes for supporters when a club moves location. I know it was probably discussed on this board when we moved from the Gay Meadow but have you now after a few years got into a new routine on matchdays or has that experience just turned into a straight forward visit to the game and then home again with no real enjoyable experience to go with it.

Definitely mine has changed. Because of where I now live it’s straight in and out.
But it changed before my move. At Gay Meadow met up with friends and then always went to the tin shack for a bacon sandwich or went into town and shopped and then bought a sandwich to eat in the little park if the weather was good.
Happy days and very happy memories.

On reflection, it's not changed a huge amount. Pre game is pretty similar in meeting around middayish in the pub, the difference is the pubs we meet in.
The biggest change has probably been post game, it used to be back to the pub in Coleham for a few and then potentially carry on into town. Nowadays normally everyone goes straight home although that could simply be down to being older, married, etc.
Another change but a positive one is at half time, now it's pop to Smithys for a pint, at Gay Meadow it was wait around on the terrace on the Riverside, queue up for an inedible reheated burger at the buffet or hold your breath and pop to the toilet

The pre game social element is something I really do now miss, a lot.

In the Gay Meadow days, met up with a gang of workmates for a pint in the Telepost. Since the move, I don’t bother with the ale, just a chat down at front of 14 then up to our seats to read the programme.
