There must be a system that would suit both Langmead and Rodgers' styles of play. For example:
1. Langmead holds the ball up, knocks it back to O'Connor or Tolley for through ball for Luke to chase. He's still got all his speed.
2. Langmead flicks ball on (a la Jemson) for Rodgers to run onto.
3. Langmead knocks down Aiston's cross in the penalty area for Rodgers to bury it (Toshack & Keegan - or am I getting carried away?).
Langmead is turning out to be the player that I always thought Darby was going to be.
I really don't think it's time yet for Luke to go. He's still got the fantastic workrate; all he needs is decent service and his old confidence back.
Grant had a good game on Tuesday but I still only see him as a squad player rather than the answer to our problems.

I'd be tempted to stick with Grant & Langmead after their contributions on Tuesday, and also NO petulance from either of them unlike you know who, he deserves a long sulk in the reserves IMHO.
