Very poor this. The Army v Navy Rugby match a Twickenham pulls 60k fans and is live on TV. The football doesn't have the same pull for some reason. I wonder with the new marketing team in place the Club could push this on a bit

I admit that the football game is poorly attended but to say unless your involved is wrong. I repeat the Rugby final is held at Twickenham and 60 000 attend. Its well advertised, sponsored and is a great occasion. Wouldn't it be good for our club to get on board and build the interservices into a occasion similar. Our liason with RAF Shawbury is a great start. The standard last night from what I saw on line wasn't bad at all. From little acorns etc etc

I played against an army XI while at uni we were 7-0 down at halftime. They were very kind to us in the second half. We only lost 9-2 .

Just dropped on this thread.
Coming home from town on the day of the game, a Scottish chap asked me if my bus was good for the football stadium; he had travelled down from Falkirk to watch his son playing for the Senior Service, and we had a nice chat before he got off at the Brooklands for a pre-match pint.
