Headline acts are really diabolical, not been for 30 years. Looking forward to my trip to the Wacken open air festival in Germany this summer ⛱️🌞. Off to see Echo and the Bunny men in Manchester on Sunday

Have to say I am a little underwhelmed by the line up. Sleaford Mods about the highlight for me i am not a Coldplay fan. My son is very excited to finally see Averil Lavigne. Cyndi Lauper is worth a look.I like Paul Heaton hopefully he will give a nod to the House martin days. Otherwise I shall wait to see something surprising

"I'm with the Band" worked for at least 4 years.(I was on 2 occasions) Same for my wife and one of my brothers in law. Made it to the main stage in 1985. An Alarm from Penzance.

Missed out on last years festival after a great run of getting tickets ten years in a row, hoping there are some chances for resale tickets in a few weeks time
Was impressed with the extent of the BBC iPlayer coverage last year on the tv which made up for not being there a bit, but they probably only show about 20% of the acts there and it’s at the smaller stages and impromptu acts around the site that the magic of the place really comes alive which the tv never quite captures. Rarely see anything on the main stages but think PJ Harvey and Janelle Monae would be worth catching this year if i can grab a ticket

Never paid full price for a ticket! Once got in by paying a worker a £100 to smuggle me in, once under the fence, twice over the fence and, my own personal favourite, blagged through security by saying my girlfriend was having an asthma attack and had left her inhaler at home! Went straight from medical centre in to campsite! I understand that “anyone got a spare +1” doesn’t work anymore!

im happy to watch on tv and catch just a few classics and surprises. , last year Cat Stevens , and I think the one before Jesus & Mary Chain put on a great performance, was looking forward to the chemical brothers last year but they pulled out at the last minute

I really think that Glastonbury has run its course. Even been Severn? I'd imagine the 200k ticket holders and 2.3 million more who tried to get tickets making it one of the most in demand art and music festivals ever conceived would probably disagree.

Yes, years ago, when it was a proper 'rock festival' and not some confection of 'plastic pop'. Each to their own I suppose.

Surely it’s an age thing? my weekends for years was attending All Nighters, I haven’t been for 40 years, nothing to do with a change in music genre, more getting old 😂

Rolling around in mud and freezing in a sleeping bag is great when you're 18.

Just checked out the line-up so far and I am particularly looking forward to seeing the brilliant Michael Kiwanuka and the legend PJ Harvey. I will also check out the London Grammar set - their music is decent and I taught GCSE Physics to their keyboard player!
