Grizzy by name, Grizzy by nature? Always a shame when a pun is ruined because a too eager poster doesn't check the spillong

Touch wood, I'm not superstitious, but anything to try to change things. Can kl8 predict a Town win for a change? Can we have a goalkeeper named on the bench, so that one of our outfield players isn't dreading the idea they might have to step in? Can everyone wear their lucky pants/whatever else has worked in the past?

What's Grizzy's score prediction for el crapico? 🤣 I'm Grizzly, not Grizzy........ And I'm Grizzly, not Grumpy..... 😉 No idea what to expect with 2 completely out of sorts teams playing each other. But I doubt there will be many shots on target, very little entertainment, and quite likely whoever scores first will go on to win. If Vale score first I hope I'm wrong.

Club has said over 1,000 of us going tomorrow - good effort from those going but overall if its not 1,500+ by the game, it's a p**s poor following for a massively important game up the road

Do the facts bear this out? Bearly, but maybe the only Grizzly in captivity in the Shrewsbury area. Any more doesn't bear thinking about

Mine will read "Paul Hurst is not the messiah".

First away game in years, its almost as close as a home game and a pivotal game of the season for both clubs so seemed like a no brainer.
Remind me of that this time tomorrow.

Of the 3 winnable games coming up this is the one we must not lose. Agree with this. I don't think we can afford any losses in these 3 games but, if there has to be one, I'd take Carlisle because they're done. Looking at our remaining fixtures I think 6-7 points is needed from the Vale/Exeter/Carlisle games. I'd say 5 is the absolute minimum, as that would mean no defeats. That would leave us needing a point a game in the run in to reach 50. We've needed a point a game for a while now and it's testing us to get even that. Seven points from those last 7 games looks challenging for us; I don't see us getting many. But if we can get to 45 points by full time against Carlisle, I think we'll be ok, but Vale will be the biggest one to win if we can do it.

I didn’t go to Northampton expecting we’d lose and also Reading for the same reason. I’m going for the hat-trick tomorrow by also not going. Hope it works.

I too would expect that 50 points will be more than enough to stay up, expect the bottom 4 to be several points under the magic 50.
Just hope we can get close to it over the next few games though to take the pressure off a big.

Judging by Moore's press conference it looks like Vale will want to make it a real hostile atmosphere today, as it often is at Port Vale i expect we'll need to be physically strong and keep our shape early on. But overall I'm hoping we have the better players to kick on and get the win as the game goes on.
As others have said I think today is really a game where players like Shipley and Bayliss need to step up and show their quaility, and that the team as a whole keeps its calm and doesn't get drawn into giving free kicks and yellow cards away and get the Vale fans involved in the game. We don't want it being one of those chaotic games where we lose our heads and get a silly red card. 3 points today would be a massive boost to staying up, a loss and a few injuries and a suspension and its all up in the air again
