Stand by the first half not being that bad, but the second half is suggesting match fixing levels of incompetence. Burgoyne the only thing keeping us in this, not a sentence you'd hope to be typing. No one is keeping us in this , just keeping the score down Please stop replying to me.

I hope Taylor is watching how to properly set up a team and play 3511. They are quick and sharp, their press has been immense since the first seconds.
We have no outlet. Bang average players (Feeney, Burgoyne (saves aside his distribution is non league), Bowman, Kenneh (good he was hooked)) and our better players are having stinkers.

Wow. Hit the post from a pen and then score from a cross.
By FAR the worst performance of the season. Disgraceful performance and the travelling fans deserve more.

I've got more potency in my flatulence tonight than Winchesters attempt at a back pass.

If we're gonna lose 3-0, I'd rather we do it by conceding goals of pure comedy like that. Lovely stuff.
Fourth time this season we've conceded 3 goals on a Tuesday night, quite impressive consistency from the lads.

Why can’t we play two games in 4 days? Feared this would happen after great effort on Saturday.

Yes we're 3-0 down, but we've also gone up a place in the table. So it's not all bad

Carlisle, Vale and Charlton all winning Cheltenham drawing , its certainly going to be a squeaky bum end of season

We have been very inconsistent since Hurst returned. This squad is very unbalanced after we failed to replace the loan players that went back. Make no mistake we are still in the thick of it but I think we have enough to stay up. Chalk this one off and go again on Saturday.

Results have been inconsistent, but I don’t think performances have. We’d done alright in every game before tonight.

Should it have been a free kick , back off the post the same player ? I looked it up. You are correct, it should not have stood. Bad night against a better team. Hurst learns more about the chaff. Reset and go again. Fingers crossed we won't be seeing kenneh or bowman starting again.

Rank result and performance by the sounds - as I said early on, not surprised in the slightest, on paper that was an 11 and squad laced with league 2 mediocrity after a few injuries sadly - terrible summer recruitment by Moore and Taylor to blame
Dust ourselves down and go again. Some good fixtures upcoming. My confidence of survival hasn’t changed

Second best by a country mile tonight from start to finish. I know they have had their ups and downs as we have but what are Lincoln doing that we're not. They have battered us tonight, they're well positioned in the league and average near on over 2000 more each home game (although I appreciate they were down on that tonight).
Feel for the supporters who made the trip to watch that tonight, they deserve better.

This half of the season is about staying in the league and Hurst to work out what his plan is for next season.
One presumes if there are more performances like there was tonight then the summer is going to be a huge overhaul of the squad.
One hopes it's in this league!
Next few games are huge now. 3 out of 4 are at home and 3 out of 4 are in the bottom 10 of the league. After that it's a pretty tough run in.

Vale absolutely blowing it at the end of their game. Cheltenham losing too, so we're still 6 and 5 points off them. Just a poor performance against an in form Lincoln team. Not much changes, 4 wins needed.

As far as I am concerned the only 2 players I would want to keep are Benning and Bloxham. The rest can go (including Marosi if he is on the wages rumoured).

Port Vale and Fleetwood drew. Cheltenham lost. Cambridge lost. Reading deducted points. Burton lost, albeit to Carlisle. The only bad result was Charlton winning at Derby.

Vale dropped 2 points late on, Moore not having a new manager bounce.

And Lincoln as a city has a population about a third greater than Shrewsbury’s, so the fact that their home attendances are about a third higher than ours seems pretty unsurprising.
