ahhhaaa please dont say its Toblerone ;-) Has anyone ever bought Toblerone that wasn't from an airport!? I didn't mind it but turned right against it when they increased the size of the gaps! Yeah the mutilation of the modern Toblerone is a sad one. And Pilch If I was going to get addicted then it wouldn't be a bad choice, especially in Dundee.

Quick google confirms they have stopped making dark choc bounty, yet you can order bulk packs off the likes of Amazon. Not tried to order but they are there being offered. The dark choc against the coconut is so much better than the milk version. Can you still get Old Jamaica? Not seen it in years but was very nice. Old Jamacia. That was my dad's favourite and because he knew we didn't like it he knew he would have the whole bar to himself Anyone remember the tv advert for OJ? It sort of played on it being a bar for grown ups. Long John Silver to Jim Hawkins: “Ah Jim lad….don’t ee knock it all back at once!” (Referring to the supposed rum content!)

I bought one last year for someone , it was 4.5kg, cost £74, 3 days to eat one triangle We did the same at work. We all chipped in. No joke we used a hammer and chisel to break it into edible chunks. 5 of us 3 days to eat it, and yes we gave some to our royal mail driver 🤣

I don’t have a sweet tooth which I attribute to my first 7 years being during the post war sugar rationing period. Being half Belgian I do like chocolate and agree with the Belgian opinion that British milk chocolate bears only a passing resemblance to the real thing. So I choose a minimum 75% cocoa solids chocolate bar, ALDI vegetable crisps and water. I got an aversion to pop after serving a year in the Gulf where alcohol wasn’t allowed and only coke or Fanta was available at work. Very true. I can't eat much of the stuff. My son's girlfriend is Belgian and the chocolates she brings from there are far superior to standard British milk chocolate. I'll pass over the abomination that goes by the name of "chocolate" in the US. Butyric acid. Commonly found in rancid milk and vomit (apologies to anyone reading this whilst eating).
Butyric acid is also present in milk, so all chocolate made with dairy contains it in some amounts. It may be more perceptable in American chocolate due to how the milk is treated. A process known as lipolysis breaks down the fatty acids in fresh milk. This makes it shelf-stable while also producing more butyric acid—and with it a tangy, acrid aftertaste. Hershey has been accused of treating its milk through controlled lipolysis.
A Hershey's bar should be good for about 300 years judging by that and it will still taste like baby sick

They also made the worst chewing gum ever - tasted of Deep Heat and numbed just like it....
