Very worrying.
Always enjoyed my trips to Spotland.
Hopefully some new investors are forthcoming.

Always enjoyed visiting, although I don't remember many wins.

Always liked a trip there. Great chippy in that row of houses by the side of the ground!

Always liked a trip there. Great chippy in that row of houses by the side of the ground! opposite the pub called the cemetary went in there once after a game, clocked about a dozen faces and immediately gathered up my small gang and said get the **** out quick we are going, we got about 40 yards away and heard the fracas begin, breaking glasses, shouting, sad side of football

Always enjoyed visiting, although I don't remember many wins. The best one was April 94. 90th minute winner by Dave Walton right in front of the massed Town fans. We all knew a win would put us top with just 5 more games to play. When that one went in we all knew the title was coming to us. Was a little mental on the away terrace after that. 🙂

A very conveniently situated Chippie on Willbutts lane, right by the Away turnstiles. Not a happy hunting ground but for that Rodgers inspired 7-1.

Very sad news indeed.
Not a great advert for fan ownership either.
I've never seen a Shrewsbury player more outplayed than ten grand Tolley against Ernie Cooksey RIP. He had him by his buttocks on a plate and his only option was substituted off or sent off.
He could never come close to matching him on the pitch.
I saw Zola play against Shrewsbury but I've never seen an opposition player own us more than he did.

Even worse news for Rochdale - George Galloway elected as their MP.

Perhaps there's room for one George G amongst 650? Cat will be firmly amongst the pigeons. Normality will probably be restored at the general election anyway.

The difference though is that George G is a lone voice in Parliament, unable to do much harm, whereas Trump could again be something too awful to contemplate........

Old Galloway, well he will keep the Palestine loving locals very happy. Maybe he should nip over to the holy land and hand out some aid. Rather than stir trouble Oop north.

Definitely agree with this. A despicable man both in his public and private lives.

Put his actions and/or his money where his mouth is? I don’t think so somehow. It’s far more comfortable and easy to stay here.
