Led to believe Jayne organised this after seeing a post about him on Facebook. What a thoroughly lovely thing to do, makes you proud to be Salop.

That is really lovely. Indeed well done Jayne. Protecting the immune system is so important and he is so young to be going through this.
Something like this makes it so easy to explain to people why I support Shrewsbury Town.

Mr Bennett, the shirt, the season ticket, brilliant work!
(As an aside, is Jayne the sexy blonde at the start of the video - lovely hair)

Fantastic work from the club.
Elliott Bennett is one of the nicest blokes I have met, he is absolutely exceptional with the young supporters week in, week out.

When Elliot Bennett retires from the game it would be great if he could be given a role of some kind at the club even if just on match days in hospitality. He is a credit to the game and must be great for the younger lads on the training ground.

I'll parrot what's been said; wonderful gesture, best of luck to Owen, and it's great to see a fella like Eliott Bennett who, in about ten seconds firmly convinced me that, without knowing him at all, he's a charismatic fella and a smashing bloke, too. Well done all round.

I'm lucky. I'm only on chemo tablets and have been for yonks. Any road up, who's bothered about an owd goat like me. But for Owen it's differedt by the sound of it, so a massive thumbs up to the club. I wouldn't expect anything else from Elliott, he's Juan of ours, a Shropshire lad.

Absolutely jaytee. I’m on chemo like Owen and it’s no joke believe me. He is just so young for all this.

I seem to remember Ken Mulhearn was an ambassador for the club on match days before his sad passing. Don't think anyone doing it nowadays. Steve Bull does a great job at Wolves. Would love to see Elliot in that role one day or maybe Joe Hart. Dave Edward's attends a lot of towns games but is a busy man with his business interests and involvement with kids football. Always great to see the ex players attending.
