And that’s one too many!
Since the onset of the Premier League, football has become more and more ‘show bizzy’. It’s such a shame that this is now seeping its way down to the lower leagues. Clubs will become the playthings of the rich.
The whole game will have changed in another ten years

Wrexham are owned by two world famous actors and have the backing of Disney. I'm not sure a boyband from the 90's have the same appeal and more importantly, the wealth to do anything like Wrexham have done. I expect there will be a bit of noise & media hype initially but this will become a short lived affair
On the subject of non league, I see Doncaster City who play in the Central Midlands League Premier North (step 7) have signed Ross McCormack, Charlie Mulgrew and Wes Hoolahan. Apparently they are run by the infamous agent Willy McKay

Apparently they are run by the infamous agent Willy McKay Oh come on! How many of you had heard of Rob McElhenney before the takeover? I hadn't. I'm not a modern-day film buff and admit to casually hearing the name Ryan Reynolds on the radio, but had no idea he was a A list superstar. When you say we have the "backing of Disney" you make it sound like the company is pumping millions of £'s into the club. Like the arab owners of Man City etc. They're paying us on a series to series basis. Our owners are not throwing money at our squad either. The wage bills of Stockport, Wrexham, Bradford etc are very closely matched. Rival football fans will believe what they want to believe. And make up things in their minds. here endeth the lesson

Roll on your accounts.
"We'll never put debt on the club".
They did.

Roll on your accounts. "We'll never put debt on the club". They did. It was announced 1-year after the takeover Wrexham made a loss blah blah. Rival football teams' fans were in raptures. p**sing themselves laughing. But failing to take into consideration the purchase of the club etc etc But then the following season it was announced we had a £20 M turnover which I am quietly confident of smashing this season. If you think we're going into the red....I think you're going to disappointed

Turnover and profit/loss are two very different things. Very true. In their last accounts, their turnover had increased by over 400%, however they still made a loss of just under £3million

I knew it would trickle down but at least one of them does have a connection with Wellington and Telford.
