Questions to be asked of Hurst today of the gravest nature.
I saw him make eye contact with opposite number Paul Warne on at least two occasions. Unless my lip-reading is off he also wished him a good afternoon when they first met.
Taking a common-sense approach on the likely impact this had on Salop’s performance, I project this larking about cost us a 5-1 win.

Yes, we rode our luck and resorted to hoofball too much for my liking at times but we looked organised, balanced and well-drilled and restricted the amount of genuine goal-scoring opportunities for Derby.
Benning flunked a couple of crosses in the first half when in a good position so it was good to see him redeem himself at the end. Marosi was excellent and a big shout out to Sobowale who caused them problems with his pace, strength and trickery.
We recovered well after falling behind and wonderful scenes whennthe equaliser went in.
Four points off the team in second.
We're turning into a bit of a bogey side for Derby!

Two home games in the next week now.
Minimum 3 points - hopefully more.

I would have settled for 1 pt at the start but Hurst’s influence is showing. I said before he came we need someone to get the best out of what we have…….and I still maintain we have talent. After we scored Derby we’re on the back foot with the possibility of salop getting a second, the confidence was showing. Well done salop great point. Bring on Barnsley.

But no truth in the rumour that he'd already cleared his desk ready for a big move - he just operates a clear desk policy.

How did O’Brien do in the shortish time he was on the pitch?

I hope that AoB is loving this. Getting a late winner against The Derby instead of losing week in week out with Sutton...

How did O’Brien do in the shortish time he was on the pitch? can't really remember anything special from any of the subs except they all got stuck in and were part of our best period of the game For me Winchester was mom , some great pieces of skill today one of which would have been the creation of an amazing goal had sabowale managed to do the easy part of the move and hit the target

Well done Town, it was hardly a classic but it was a thoroughly deserved, battling point on the road
Great scenes towards the end, my god I thought they had won it though - that would’ve been harsh

Yep, great effort town.....as I knew there would be under Hurst......4 points from 3 games....well,if we carry on with that up until the end of the season......we should be up and around the 52--54 point mark.....which should keep us up......hopefully we'll do even better 👍👍

Well, that was an unexpected result . Obviously very pleased with that , if nothing else it gives us confidence for our forthcoming games . I’ve always thought we would be ok in this League even under Matty Taylor . Looking at the table this morning I admit it is a bit worrying , but I’m sure a good points haul over the next few games should set us up nicely says me stating the bloody obvious. As someone else has stated on here at times we seemed to revert to playing aimless long balls but overall we do seem to be playing a more refined type of football which may have been difficult at Derby as the pitch looked dreadful , shades of the old Derby pitches in the 70’s . The next game should be interesting , I’m looking forward to it just to see how far we have come in a short space of time . Must say it looks a good decision to bring Pierre on board , he’s made a good contribution to the cause since he’s been with us . Keep the faith , I do think we will be ok this season and look forward to battling for promotion next season against Rotherham who continue to yo- yo between leagues .

Good workmanlike performance with more moments of quality and ambition than we’ve come to expect going away to clubs like Derby. Some very bitter fans of theirs post match were trying to tell me we were a diving cheating defensive side, and I know I’m biased but I just didn’t see it that way yesterday. Well worth the point.
Winchester excellent, Hinchey also looked good. Feeney deserves a bit of credit too after getting a lot of stick last weekend. Well done Hurst on the changes, they were all like for like but they got us back into the game.
Good point, the table is still very scary to look at though.

How did O’Brien do in the shortish time he was on the pitch? Didn’t have too much time to impress but he played a part in setting up the equaliser.
