Benning has been poor today but that was a great run. Get in!

Phew! It certainly wasn't pretty but what a result! It seems even more significant because we have come back from behind to get something out the game which is something we have struggled to do this season so hopefully the team can take some confidence from that.

Man oh man, a couple of heart in the mouth moments there towards the end... Great performance Town, superb effort. A huge point that in more ways than one.

Would have taken a point at 3 oclock.
2 home games to come, not easy ones but hopeful of 3 or 4 more points by this time next week.

Great point that is.
Benning is deceptively good when he gets forward. He looked like the most limited, defensive full back ever when he first arrived.

We should be beating the likes of Derby County - but an away point will do. 🥳

It seems even more significant because we have come back from behind to get something out the game which is something we have struggled to do this season so hopefully the team can take some confidence from that. We were second best today for sure but then looking to who we were going up against and looking to the table that's to be expected. So saying that, I reckon that went as well as we could have expected. We hung in there, didn't let the game go away from us, waiting for the odd chance, it and went away a point. I know we're far from out of it at the bottom of the table but even so, I think we have seen some improvement since Hurst came in and I think that was again on display this afternoon. Good stuff Town.

Respect the point.
What's one of the main differences with PH compared to recent managers? Five substitutions made - he has a plan B!

Looking at the league table will be a twitchy affair for some weeks to come but, make no mistake, today we earned a great point on the road.
Benning is my favourite Town player of the last couple of months.

Respect the point. What's one of the main differences with PH compared to recent managers? Five substitutions made - he has a plan B! To be fair Hurst does have options off the bench which Taylor hasnt really had for most of the season. But yes a plan B to go alongside it certainly helps.

Very pleased with the result, but very concerned at the table.
While we are getting points we shouldn't be (on paper) so are other teams!
Nonetheless feeling a lot more confident in our ability to get results now.

With the Star running an article on the lack of draws this season then it was inevitable today would be one.
A really impressive point

Good stuff Town. I can fully take them having more quality and us struggling to create chances against a decent defence that is probably worth more than our whole team but I thought we were poor with the ball without any pressure. Miscontrolling the ball and misplaced passes from players that are usually dependable. We then resorted to hoofing it long to an ineffective Udoh who was bullied out of the game. Like I mentions the performance is irrelevant but it certainly felt like it was a matter of time before we went behind. Makes it even sweater that we got something from the game we was below par.

If the pitch was poor, that might explain the attempt to play more direct football. Also a partial excuse for misplaced passes and poor touches.
Those criticisms didn’t apply at Northampton so hopefully a one off today. Let’s celebrate the point and move on.

Fantastic result of which a few of us expected! Great to see our away form has picked up … just as our home form has dropped off 😂 I’m feeling positive even though we’re down to 19th as I feel like the players have bought into what Hurst is trying to do. Kudos to Pierre as well after I criticised him after last week v Taylor. I think Benning deserves a mention too. I think someone said above that he didn’t play well??? He’s slowing turning into one of my favourite players.

Look it wasn’t vintage but it was hardly park the bus and poor as pughy is ascerting.
We weren’t ever going to go there and take the game to Derby but first half I thought we were most likely and we reduced them to absolutely sod all.
Second half wasn’t quite as good as first half and ugly but their goal was a set piece and I don’t think I felt they were any good until the 5 minutes relentless pressure after we made it 1 1.
Great moment for the goal. Great result.
COYB.
