tough one, glad to be going
Marosi
( Feeney/ Bennett if fit ) Pierre , Dunkley, Sraha, Benning
Winchester, Hinchy, Shipley, Bayliss
Udoh
5-4-1 ?
plan b, 4-4-2. with obrien in for Sraha, but I think 4 at the back might be a bit frail v derby

Expectations obviously rock bottom for this one. Derby are up to 3rd now, pretty sure that was closer to mid table when we played fantastically well to beat them at the Meadow. They’ve been in great form
Over 1,000 tickets sold so far, hopefully that rises above 1,500, 2,200 of us stood and singing last season made for a fantastic atmosphere and day out

Marosi Bennett Dunkley Sraha Benning Winchester Hinchy Obrien Bayliss Shipley Udoh Bit harsh to drop Pierre after last week for Sraha? Wasnt Pierre some peoples man of the match last week.

No disrespect to Pierre, but him and dunks are a bit slow for a centre back partnership....dunks has been great, but needs somebody a bit quicker by the side of him, especially when your facing a quick forward line👍👍

Thought Pierre was poor against Cambridge, slow, still looks unfit and uses the ball awfully. But on the flip side he physically dominates his opponents but we need more pace in back line

I agree regarding Pierre. He’s exceeded my expectations on his return, but against Taylor he was found wanting. No shame in that, as Taylor has obvious quality. I think we’ll play with a back 5 including Sraha and hopefully Bennett too. Will be watching on ifollow.

Be shocked if he goes a back 5, I think it'll be a defensive 4-3-3/4-5-1 if not a 4-2-3-1.

The options we have is refreshing. Competition for places is usually a good thing.

Away in London for the weekend so I will miss this one but I would go with Bennett replacing Feeney, Sraha replacing Pierre and Hinchy coming in to replace the suspended Bloxham. That would mean Udoh playing as the sole striker but we could push up Shipley and Perry either side of him with Winchester and Hinchy the holding midfielders and Bayliss given a free role. Ideally it would be nice to play with two upfront but, in the absence of Bloxham, none of the other strikers has shown recently that they are worthy of a starting place.

I think the only decision Hurst will have to make is the RW out of Sobowale, O’Brien or Perry. The rest for me is pretty self explanatory:
Marosi
Feeney - Dunkley - Pierre - Benning
Hinchey - Winchester
RW - Bayliss - Shipley
Udoh

I really hope we've seen the last of 5 at the back to be honest.
4-2-3-1 would be my call for this match. Hinchey in for Perry.

I’m surprised nobody had picked up on it yet, but Paul Hurst is going up against his good friend the former Rotherham manager Paul Warne.
If we lose will it be because Hurst was being too chummy and jokey on the sidelines?

Went to this fixture last season.. I thought we were dead and buried by half-time at 2-0 down, but we fought back to earn a creditable draw and could possibly have nicked it.

We were a bit unlucky against Cambridge to come up against a pacey attacker in Lyle Taylor who is better than League 1. The lack of pace in our defence means we will get caught out a few times between now and the end of the season but I would expect PH to put that right in the close season. Two really tough games coming up against teams I would expect to be promoted. Not expecting to get anything from them but good to be in there with these big clubs.

It was one of the more enjoyable away games in years for sure - 95% of the away end stood was great to see It seems they have instilled safe standing this season so hopefully more of the same

I’m surprised nobody had picked up on it yet, but Paul Hurst is going up against his good friend the former Rotherham manager Paul Warne. If we lose will it be because Hurst was being too chummy and jokey on the sidelines? Paul Warne talks a lot about PH in his pre match interview for this game and touched on the subject of Wembley, saying on occasions they were having casual chats on the touchline at that game, then Rotherham the lead and he then realised the chats would have to stop for the time being! They were long time Rotherham team mates so of course they are going to be chummy, but I’m sure they can both mostly put it aside for 90+ minutes tomorrow.

Presumably with the precedent set they will chat until Derby take the lead!
