Does anybody have any update on our three 'unfit' Loanees ? Have any of them formally gone back ?
Brandon Fleming - On loan from Hull - the last I heard he would be back by Christmas but he has not appeared ? Ryan Finnigan - On loan from Southampton - the last I heard is that he will be back after Christmas but no update since ? Kieran Phillips - On loan from Huddersfield - injured until March - is it worth holding out for him ?

I think Taylor said they were all back at their parent clubs bar one.

I think Taylor said he wanted to keep Fleming so I assume he’s still here, but isn’t fit yet.
Other two gone back.

But the lack of an actual announcement from either of the clubs involved just makes me presume that whilst they may be physically at their parent clubs because they are injured, town are still paying wages as it hasn't been agreed for them to end it. Hoping we may hear more over the next couple of days but who knows.

Even if town continue with a a back 4, Anderson can play LCB or LB, so think it would make sense to keep him if Fleming goes back. If Feeney continues at Right Back, and Anderson and Fleming go, it would only leave 4 fit players (Dunkley, Pierre, Sraha and Benning) for 3 positions RCB, LCB and LB. There is a fairly decent chance that all of them will at least miss a game from suspensions so definitely need to retain some bodies.

I certainly hope Finnigan is fit to return. Thought he looked promising in his brief playing time here.

Had to check the stats and it looks like Finnigan only made one appearance for us, in the 3-0 loss to Forest Green in the FLT!

Not appeared since 19 September

Apparently he’s been out with an ankle injury for over four months.
What sort of ankle injury takes that long to heal? Don’t even think a broken ankle takes that long.

I did my ankle in the early 2000s, its never fully got better and I doubt ever will, there's a lt going on in there apart from the bones

My nephew's wife has just suffered a double ankle fracture and was told that was probably better than the ligaments being damaged. I know we all think we know more than the manager but I don't think many of us claim to know more than the medics!

If it's quicker to recover from a broken ankle then perhaps we should get the "boys" in from the criminal fraternity to break his ankle.......

I guess there’s a big difference between us deciding and then negotiating with the parent club.

Why ?
1. Finnigan was fit and well but didn't come back to us and is now off to Blackpool 2. Fleming should be fit and well but he has not returned and nothing is being said 3. Udoh was out for six weeks but came back after only three when Hurst returned 4. It is not clear what injury Marosi had to miss the Peterborough game as different club sources gave different injuries

Was what I would call a hamstring limp as well so wouldn't be surprised if he was missing on Saturday. Couldn't see Marco in any of the training videos on Twitter

Little things like that sometimes gain that extra 1% in games - mind games. (Wonder if the advertising boards at the ground have been move closer to the pitch yet?)

Phillips has got to be up there with the most disappointing signings of recent years. Hard to know where blames lies if anywhere and to what extent it's just bad luck, but it's been an absolute disaster from a player who did well last season

Top work by mickey clearing the 3 loans out. 2 good slots free now for tomorrow's circus. Right back a must please.
Hope Fleming returns soon, very talented left back with a much better engine than Benning.
