Bugger, Cambridge taken lead at home to Bolton. I think we can discount them as relegation candidates now.

Reading vs Port Vale scares me. I guess we want a draw? its a bonus that Reading are playing, these games in hand always come at a cost, if it means they are a bit leggy late on saturday then fantastic

Good results for us. Keeps Cambridge in touch, and more importantly nothing for Vale.
Keeping those 4 teams below us is imperative.

I'm hoping we can get 4 PTS from these next 2 away games... we're doing better away from home atm

Best we could hope for tonight. Looking at the table now we desperately need a win and soon. 38 points would put us back in the mix of those scratting to pull away from the drop. Hope we join them very soon and dont get dragged in.

Can understand why one or two have voiced their reluctance to look at the table, only just clocked that two teams below us have the two games in hand. And those 23 goals scored stick out like a sore thumb. I just can't for the life of me understand why they hired Taylor. If it does go tits up it'll go down as the worst appointment this chairman has ever made and as we're all aware, that's up against some pretty stiff opposition...

The Chairman may well say that he did not appoint him - the Director of Football did! The same DoF that signed a number of players that we will struggle to shift in May. The DoF may respond that he could not afford any better players because of budget restraints. I will wait for an unofficial spokesman for the club to apportion blame.

Duncan seems a nice approachable guy with a bit of humour to boot, and the new CEO is talented, young and relatable. It's not all doom and gloom, but new direction is long overdue.

But, with a sizeable reduction in payouts from the Prem or whatever pot we are drip fed from, surely non playing staff will need to be thinned out as well, as it is unsustainable for Duncan to carry on pumping in his own money especially if RW does depart. The future of PH and CD would also come into question too as PH made it clear that he likes working with RW, plus a new owner may want their own choice of Manager. Many good reasons for achieving safety this season.

We need to put points on the board ourselves and I think We will. Looking at Cheltenhams fixture list looks quite daunting for them. Their next seven fixtures include; Wigan A Wycombe A Burton H Charlton H Oxford A Barnsley A Peterboro H
Can't see them getting much from that that run of games but if they do they'll deserve to survive.

Doesnt matter what any of the teams down at the bottom do if we dont start picking some 3 points up. Have to say I'm a bit disappointed in what weve got so far under Hurst, was expecting a bit more especially after his first game. Not blaming him of course but thought the new manager bounce may have got us another 3 or 4 by now.
Need some wins and soon, though there is still 1/4 of the season left right now and plenty of points to play for.

I didn’t want him back at all and am still not keen.
But he is only human and contrary to what some said inferred on here not superman. However, we were told that we wanted him earlier but that Grimsby (quite rightly at the time) asked for too much compensation. We don’t know how much that was or whether we could have afforded it but I do wonder how much it compares with what we will lose should it prove to be too late and we are relegated.
I should strongly point out that I do not want to see this happen whoever is in charge. For me the club is far more important than any employee whether I like them or not.
