I mean for every rancidly s**t and shady Chinese businessman approved by the EFL to takeover a club there are many more good owners...

Does anyone reading that (sorry about the pun) appreciate Roland Wycherley now?

Does anyone reading that (sorry about the pun) appreciate Roland Wycherley now? Not massively. Appreciating someone for not piling the club into mounds of dog s**t doesn't really warrant my praise. I don't thank a bus driver upon debarking for not driving us off a bridge.

Does anyone reading that (sorry about the pun) appreciate Roland Wycherley now? I hate this type of arguement. It's like saying you should like your boss who constantly bullies you because someone elses boss raped them, so be grateful it could be worse. You know, it could also be much better?

Be careful what you wish for. You might get a nice overseas chairman who has lots of money and then complete ruins the circus like this clown at Reading has done.
I'm not the biggest fan of RW but I think he's a lot better than most out there.
Oh and somewhat more genuine than Ryan Reynolds as well.

"Savage is stuck on 14 league starts because if he makes another he will trigger a £2,000-a-month pay rise."
Wow
it wasn't too long ago they were paying something over 200% of their revenue on wages. Bonkers
And the problem with the fit and proper test in this case is that there wasn't anything to disqualify him from passing it - in fact he was bankrolling them for a time and then lost interest - how can you factor in someone doing that?
