We have had one, what are moaning about🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Expected that. A new signing is someone who has not already played for us. sorry I really couldn't resist. You would think with three loan players going back we would have replaced at least one wouldn't you?

You would think with three loan players going back we would have replaced at least one wouldn't you? The Premier league winter break giving managers time to assess the young guys? Doesn't seem to be a lot of activity above us, e.g. Wolves bringing in someone who allows Fraser to come to us? Not much money around at all clubs?
Maybe that's the sort of thing that is limiting our recruitment?

Found Taylors pre match presser pretty chuckles to be honest. Seemed he had all the clubs lines imprinted on him. Not an original thought in his noggin.
We all make mistakes don't we Matty, except it seems when it comes to getting your previously unmentioned digs about 19th highest budgets and name checking " duncan".
Whole thing is hilairious.

The football this season has been terrible ,but I at least have some sympathy for MT ,I think he speaks pretty well and of course he has no choice but to stick to the party line However I think it is no abundantly clear that that MT is out of his depth, but it is also clear that the problems at the club go far higher than him In fact right to the top We are in trouble on and off the pitch

I almost choked on my cornflakes when he talked about trying to get back to the "free-flowing" football of earlier in the season.

Think I am right in saying that we have not got a point or even scored a goal in the away games we have played so far against any of the teams in the top half of the table. That perhaps shows that rope-a - dope tactics only work (occasionally) against dopes and certainly wont work against the likes of Peterborough. Though MT might be guilty of exaggeration when talking about free-flowing football his remark is at least a little encouraging as it may signal that we could start trying to play our way out of trouble rather than kick our way out of it. No more four centre-halves please - pick your best three available (that would be Feeney, Dunkley and Sraha for me), play Bennett and Benning at wing-back and get Bayliss and Perry starting in midfield. If we at least try to make more of an effort to attack at Peterborough that might well be enough to silence the boo boys and, you never know, we could just come away with a result.

I’m definitely getting the impression that some want to see us fail there and see a perfectly decent bloke lose his job. I’m not sure whether that counts as supporting the team or not.
If he’s out of his depth then blame the people who appointed him and put him in such a position. The surely must have known and investigated his skills and experience and if they didn’t more fool them.

If they fell for the ‘good interview’ tactic then that doesn’t look good for any future appointments. I worked somewhere where this happened and it was a disaster that years to recover from.

Marosi
Winchester - Feeney - Dunkley - Sraha - Benning
Bayliss - Kenneh - Shipley
Mata - Bowman
Subs - Burgoyne, Sobowale, Pierre, Perry, Idowu, Anderson, Loughran
Unbalanced as anything but F it we might as well have a go.

A couple of minutes before the free-flowing bombshell incident, he said he can't risk playing/starting Bowman and Mata at the same time as we only have 2 strikers.

I've got no doubt there are a tiny number of individuals who haven't liked him from day 1, but you get that with any manager (head coach). However criticising him does not mean you want him to fail. And let's be honest, when he starts referring to this freeflowing football from earlier in the season then he's going to get called out, because it didn't happen.

Idowu is the one of the only players who seems to be able to get up to a speed above treacle so for me should start. Mata too who came on last Saturday and at least gave a semblance of a striker who could link play.
Marosi Dunkley pierre sraha Wini kenneh bayliss benning Idowu mata Shipley
The lack of mid options again is absolutely dreadful.

I think we’re all braced for a 4 something loss but here’s hoping we’re wrong. Anything above that, I fear it may be curtains for him. Lots of square pegs in round holes due to injuries doesn’t help. I’ll bet on a town win as the odds are stacked against us!

The surely must have known and investigated his skills and experience and if they didn’t more fool them. I agree, this would have been the case no matter who the manager would have been I predicted it back on the 'Steve cotterill sacked' thread i feel sorry for the next guy , i fear he will be made a scapegoat like askey was let's hope not the real annoying thing here is had we drawn saturday we'd be sitting clear in 13th ok we lost, it was a poor performance but we were the better side against the side in 7th place they won with a goal from one of the top scorers in the division, as the saying goes 'speculation is rife' at the moment in regards to Reid & the January window, it was the type of clinical finish we've not seen in our forward line since cant even remember when the real hypocritical thing is there would not have been an outrage to the same extent or even close had Saturdays game been... last season , and anyone daring to suggest it was boring, would have been shot down this season, last season, or any season since 2017 have been pretty much the same on the pitch, off it I think this season is maybe the most challenging we've had for many seasons, maybe as far back as 2003 in the meantime I think we should just be realistic anything but a defeat tomorrow will be a great surpise a defeat at Northampton will be disappointing I actually think 2 defeats might even make our 'fickle fans' unbearable and force the chairmans hand this could put the club in more jeopardy than relegation would, and wouldn't even guarantee anything maybe a decent relegation scrap is the excited we need

3-0 to Peterborough is my prediction
To be quite frank, if we add to our record-breakingly bad 3 away goals so far this season ill be surprised
A sad, depressing, demoralising state of affairs
