A few years ago, I the dragon on a world tour of Scotland. We did the usual things, Edinburgh Castle, the final resting place of Robert the Bruce, etc, but I stupidly left a gap in the itinerary for Saturday afternoon. I told the dragon that to fill the gap, I had a "very special surprise" for her. Any road up, halfway through the second half, and with Cowden well in control of the game, I turned and gave the dragon my very best romantic smile. The look on her face when she turned sideways to look back at me was a picture............ A bloke I occasionally worked with, was absolutely taken with what he described as a "bootiul young lady". He said he'd asked her out on several occasions, but she kept turning him down. Then the Juan morning he came in completely full of himself. She'd finally said "yes". He'd arranged a special romantic meal, but he wanted to surprise her by taking her somewhere unusual fust. Some Juan suggested The Tar Tunnel in Ironbridge. The next time I saw the bloke he looked really down. Being naturally "nosy" I asked if he'd enjoyed his romantic meal. "We didn't go", he told me. "When we came out of The Tar Tunnel she stormed off!" Have you taken a partner somewhere "romantic?"

There's still time. Here's an idea, take your partner to the next STFC home game, you know they deserve it!
Maybe the club should run a promotion on it to boost dwindling attendances, maybe change our luck, show them what fans have to endure, and provide some interest?

After consulting with NOTO and on his recommendation I have been lavishing my partner with the romantic delights of Suncentre2 in Rhyl.

my wife to Cleethorpes yesterday, she throughly enjoyed watching footballers passing the ball to each other and wide players running at defenders and crossing the ball.

mine to Stratford away in the FA Cup. Lovely morning.
The match? She couldn't see most of it and when the home fans started kicking off she stood by the Coppers. Me? Right at the front of the rails disappearing in the blue smoke of the flare!
Yeah, she's not let me forget that one. Burton away last year she enjoyed. She's only seen us away twice, both times we've won by 4 goals...

Both going to the dentists on Thursday. The waiting room overlooks the river. There are armchairs and a tv. When it is empty we could be anywhere in the world.

Yes. A couple of years after marrying my current wife we bought a VW Camper. It was my job to arrange the inaugural trip. I suggested North Devon so we set off to our first destination Illfracombe. She became suspicious soon after arriving when we bumped into fellow Town Supporters there for the first game of the Joma Cup. She spent the first evening on her own (looking after the dogs) on Illfracombe FC car park whilst I attended the match. We moved on the next day but only to take in rest of the games … Were still married.
