Hi,
I've recently moved to Whitchurch. Are there any other Town fans on this board from there?
Kind regards
Ade Plimmer

I was outnumbered 2 to 1 on the train station on Sunday, so there must be some fans on Whitchurch!

Isn't it Chester / Wolves territory ?

North Shropshire yes, though not Whitchurch. Closer to Wem.
Odd thing about Whitchurch - I drive up and down the A49 regularly and it's weird how often it starts raining somewhere on the Whitchurch bypass but it's dry north and south of it.

Isn't it Chester / Wolves territory ? If not Shrewsbury (being in the same county) wouldn't Stoke, Crewe or even Wrexham be more likely? Certainly closer.

Not quite Whitchurch, but Aston, 5 miles north (next to the Bhurtpore, best pub in Cheshire)

It might be an 'old wives tale' but I thought the A41 had a factor in the Chester / Wolves thing, Was told years ago that there is a big Man Utd following in Whitchurch as well because of the train link up North. I think Market Drayton is Stoke? Ludlow is Hereford? Bridgnorth is generally Wolves as well from those I've met as is Shifnal.

As an aside, I saw a gent in an LFC hat at our game on Sunday - bad show. The only fans I know of in Whitchurch are Ade Plimmer and cuzzman, so we can claim it's Shrewsbury!

I lived in Whitchurch for many years 70s 80s 90s and there where alot of us back then. There was always a lot of united and liverpool. But also Wrexham,Crewe,Stoke, leeds, and Derby! Never knew any Chester fans though. Numbers were always fairly even between Town and Wrexham although think Town were just about on top back then.
