So what is it now, the worst goal scoring recording in the 92? And anyone watching this today would have seen why. We have next to nothing going forward. This has been so poor.

Knackered, disjointed, clueless and toothless. What a shocker. Feel very sorry for all those who wasted their time and money on that.

Last Xmas & New Year was a s**tshow but then things turned around in January, let's hope its the same this time round (he says, desperately clutching at straws).

Absolutely pathetic. You can accept the odd stinker if they’re once in a blue moon, or there are overall signs of progression, but there are neither. It’s the same pattern every week, just we occasionally play a little bit better or get lucky.
I would have sympathy with the travelling fans who gave up £28 and a day of their Christmas break to watch that torrid showing but to be honest they should’ve seen it coming.
0 shots on target across the last two games, and Cheltenham who were the laughing stock of football for their lack of goals have now scored more than us. Utterly utterly pathetic.

This post isnt going to sit well with some just now.
But losing today isnt a total disaster however bad its feeling right now. We are still 8 points (3 wins) better off than any of the bottom 4, and their are currently 9 teams worse than us.
The really worrying thing is we are s**t away from home, against teams who basically are just slightly better on the day than us. There really is some dross in the lower half of the table this season (thankfully).
On to Burton but we cant expect to keep winning up there (won the last 3 seasons and four out of the last 5 times weve been up there).
There sure as hell needs to be some improvement going through January and we need to keep beating the rubbish teams at home.
Keep the faith (as hard as it might be right now).

What a shocking performance. Outplayed by bottom of the table Cheltenham. It could have been 4 or 5. No shots on target. Very worrying.

So what’s the excuse this week from the happy clappers? Cheltenham are a much better side than us? Cheltenham have more resources than us? Cheltenham don’t have the injuries we have? Cheltenham are a big club? Our league position is a false position. No goals, no passion, no entertainment, no quality, no improvement. It’s so negative every single week, we have nothing to cling onto that gives me any hope. Maybe we won’t go down this year but do you think the likes of Dunkley, Marosi and Shipley will really fancy sticking around for this next year? Taylor was even being called out by Flanagan on the radio for the negative tactics. After nearly ten years in this division it’s not good enough to merely hope to finish 17th every single year by clinging on and being bored stiff 90% of the time with the occasional cup run. Some fans might be happy with this every single year but I’m not. Where’s the ambition to progress this football forward? Why should anyone who's not been a lifelong supporter in their late 20s or older feel inspired to go and watch this week in week out? maybe they will challenge your pathetic post attacking town fans for something that hasn't even happened and claim the table never lies

8 points off the bottom 4.
5 of the 9 teams below us have 2 games in hand, the other 4 have one game in hand.
Worst goal difference (-20) in the whole Division. Joint worst goals scored (14) in the whole Division.
And things just seem to be getting worse by the game.
Our record against the top 10 sides in the Division - P10 W1 D0 L9 - Goals scored - 2.

Think it's just going to get worse, can we believe we will bring in players to make it better in Jan? Apart from atmosphere think Wrexham will be a 3 or 4 nil humiliation sadly

And I might add that of the 2 goals we scored against the top 10 sides, one was an own goal and the other a fluke by Shipley.

Is our present form a ploy to make Wrexham think we are rubbish and then bang we beat them 6-0. The FA Cup could be a big money maker for us this season. Good idea town.

Still suprised we plumped for Taylor over Darrell Clarke who seems to be turning Cheltenham about a bit.
The January movement can't come soon enough. See what Moore is made of, but the cynic in me is expecting another February YouTube interview full of identikit excuses.
Do feel sorry for those hardy souls following this s**te away though.

Can’t expect much this season on the current budget. Football will be uninspiring most games but I think the club has enough to avoid relegation just…..

I know our shots on target last 2 games have been unusually low for us in comparison to the rest of the season but if we are ignoring shots on target that went in thats hardly surprising as for cheltenham being a laughing stock, who has been laughing at them for that ?

Meanwhile, Fleetwood at Portsmouth on Sat and Reading at Peterborough today both get draws against teams that some on here regard us as having no chance whatsoever when playing them.

Can cope with losing to sides who are towards the top and obviously better and have more resources, can cope with losing to sides who have less resources if we just have a bad day…… but can’t cope with losing when we just roll over and give up, like we did today
The squad mentality is all wrong, Flannos comments last week were spot on

Time to abandon this experiment and Wycherley to hand over too. IF Roland was to accept a bid tomorrow it would still take months of due diligence before a new regime would take over.next season if we were lucky. Up until that time it would make little sense to change the Manager when we are still clear of the drop zone by 8 points. The fans turning on Roland is about the only thing that would make a difference to Roland attitude to sell. MR Chairman needs to sell asap and this has been my opinion for some time. If RW cares about his legacy he needs to go asap. The Football is absolutely dire but the head steering the club is driving us towards the rocks 🪨

Cheltenham Town or Shrewsbury Town? He's managed both. Maybe both sets of fans boosting his ego Our team might be spurred on by anything like that, they are playing for MT. So far apparently posing for selfies with Shrewsbury fans and signing autographs (not sure if someone from the club is having a blank cheque signed). maybe someone could ask him why on earth he took it on himself to order £300k worth of clothing from Umbro Because he took a cut from the deal that’s why

We need to win 6 more games along with a handful of draws should see us okay this season. I’m looking at the fixtures and struggling to find 6 games I’d back us to win. It’s going to be a lot tighter than a lot of our fans feel, heck of a lot of complacency about.

We had a purple patch, now we are having a poor run. It will be repeated a few more times over the season.
Big plans afoot for January according to MT a few weeks back so hopefully we can improve the quality of the squad. If this is his preferred tactics then he will never do well as a manager.
Playing defensively and hoofing long to counter but being poor defensively and not having the strikers to win a header or beat a man for pace is never ever going to work.
