It is never easy to get the players you need in January but town should review our current loan players an any who are not making the grade need to be sent back, as with all things what finances are available ? This will be an interesting to see what ambition is there to get the players the club needs to keep us safe.

Any news on Jack Price? Seemed months ago he was a dead certain free transfer to bolster the midfield.

Assume his agent would tout him around for a good deal somewhere, if that doesn't come off then a later in the month signing? You might say "sign if you want to be here", but players have to look to get the best deal.

Jack Price attended a number of town games for a while but nothing lately which would appear to indicate that no deal agreed. Think his fitness would have been an issue.

Wrexham and Charlton are in the hunt for Peterborough's Jonson Clarke-Harris, according to The Sun. I'd chose Charlton.

If Fraser doesn’t arrive from Wolves I believe we’re also interested in Joe Taylor from Luton.

Desperately hoping either the lad from Palace or Fraser are in by Sunday.

Taylor was asked directly if he expected more incomings before the Wrexham game. He gave a very simple answer.
’Yes’.

If we do get a player or players in before Sunday I wonder if they could be cup tied?

Jack Price attended a number of town games for a while but nothing lately which would appear to indicate that no deal agreed. Think his fitness would have been an issue. Sure - but there may be another reason he is busy: Club President Pádraig Smith described it as “there was an element with Price where he wanted to go back home. He’s about to have his second child and I think we’ll see what happens with him with which club he goes to (in the U.K.).”

If we do get a player or players in before Sunday I wonder if they could be cup tied? Well if they are from Luton, Palace or Wolves (seem to be the most mentioned) they wont be unless they have been out on a loan already this season.

Surprised by back of action across the leagues to be honest. Other than a couple of players from league of Ireland who were signed a few weeks ago, there's only really be loan recalls

Dont think so but wasnt Barnsley disqualified for playing someone in the replay that wasnt eligible for the original tie. Think that's a ruling. Ie if we draw anyone we sign after the first game isnt allowed to play in the replay.

Managers get the chance to assess the youngsters and think about what sort of level they could go out on loan to, or stay with their squad.
Could ripple down the leagues too, i.e, Championship teams not knowing who they can get from the Prem, so not wanting to set up loan deals downwards, etc.

Interesting that Fleetwood and Waterford have the same owner. They'd have almost certainly had first refusal on Sobowale and Idowu but for whatever reason didn't fancy them. They might be regretting that slightly after Tunmise's performance on Saturday.

Sounds like Greg Docherty could be leaving Hull and heading back to league 1 , Charlton & Bristol Rovers linked.
Would love him to come back on loan but we’ll be way down the pecking order
