flooding near the river. Further risk of extra rain on Friday/Saturday and we have been allocated the Shrewsbury Hotel slap bang in the middle of it. The landlord of the Salopian in particular has squeaky bum time (which i read on the Star website, hence my post), but at least he moved his beers out of his cellar now. So you've been given the local weatherspoons.

Set his career back two seasons ago by deciding being a money grabber was better choice than playing in League One. Same as a number of your other players who decided money more important than the standard they play at.

Yeah really bitter that we have been in a higher Division than you for 16 years. So jealous of your record breaking length of time in the Conference/National League rather than 1 one season we had. Oh and not forget so jealous of the 5500 seater covered stand that has replaced the Kop and the £3million debt in your last accounts.

I don’t know whether to have faith in two extremely successful businessmen who quite literally have the eyes of the world on them or some scaremongering on a rival forum. Sweating here. Just hope they can generate some cash, perhaps a US tour that brings in a reported £8m or something like a documentary shown worldwide bringing in £400,000 per episode. Hopefully something like that in time for the next accounts. Don’t think they’re up to it myself, just a couple of clowns who are going to get bored very soon. We’re doomed. And as for the 2,500 seater temporary stand full to capacity every game, pah! How dare they put that in place while we wait for work to begin on the 5,500 seater new stand. Clearly getting bored. I’m with you on this one.

With all the hype and positive publicity, can you honestly imagine the owners ripping us off and turning out to be villains all along? It simply won’t happen. They’ll take this as far as they can and then bring in outside investment. There are really exciting times ahead. It won’t last forever, but what does? What I do know is Rob and Ryan will leave us in far better shape than how they found us . Can’t ask for more than that these days.

Not sure about that. We were a club under fan ownership and without any assets. Make no bones about it, the club was heading for the NLN and beyond.

Only owners I trust are ones that are long term supporters of a club before they take over. Too many cases of people taking over in a fan fare of glory and turning out to only be in it for themselves. Hopefully your Disney Fairy Tale doesn't turn into Nightmare on Elm Street for you.

We used to have one of those owners. His name was Pryce Griffiths and he was Wrexham to the core. Fans became disgruntled because we were a mid table L1 outfit seemingly going nowhere. Pressure led to him unwittingly selling up to a property developer called Alex Hamilton. What followed was a nightmare that I would never wish on another club. Your club’s fans need to be careful what they wish for too.

You wonder what happens when they have dull mid league finish at some point. How long will it take for the plastic yank fans to get bored and stop being interested? How long until the Mickey Mouse channel decides to pull the plug? How long until Wob and Wyan release a statement saying 'we will always love Wrexham, however, due to other commitments we are not longer able to maintain our relationship with the club as it is'? How quickly will the eyes of the world turn to the next Hollywood folly? How much money will Wob and Wyan walk away with, global reputations enhanced? How will Wrexham pay off the debt? How much damage will have been done to the wider football world, turned into a rich man's hobby and wages artificially inflated?

We are on the crest of the wave and it lasts as long as it will. Ultimately we will cut out cloth to suit - their target was always be a solid League 1 team, with potential to get to Championship. Hence why they are spending the money now while they have it. As for them getting bored, no sign of it at present and they are talking about legacy for their families after they retire so the eye is certainly on the future. even if they do pull the plug, it wouldn't be immediately and they wouldn't sell to any Tom, Dick or Harry and would do full due diligence we aren't panicking yet, Mr Mainwairing

What happens if …?
Roland sells to someone who’s prepared wsoend 4/5 years running down the club, evicts the club and sells the land.
These are everyday scenarios facing virtually every club in the land.
