At most away grounds the tanooy man announces who the man of the match is before the final whistle, Why dont we do that???

Although it's around 10 years ago now, when I went to a match as a guest of one of the sponsors we had to decide man of the match. We were asked to vote after the game so I guess it's not announced during the game because a decision has not been made until everyone has gone home.
