Inspired by the discussion on the Tactical voting forum post; Who would you vote for if a general election was held today?
(All out of curiosity and for a bit of fun)

Lib Dems. Only party able to defeat the Tories in North Shropshire. And Helen Morgan is a very good constituency M.P.

Fed up with the lot of them. Here in Brighton we have Eddie/Suzy Izzard wanting the Labour nomination. The Greens were a joke in local government (wiped out by Labour at long last). What does a Labour supporter do when Starmer changes his party to Tory-Lite to appease the Brexidiots? Asking for a friend…

Are you still stuck in 2016?

But behind Sunak there's barm pots like Rees Mogg.

I’ve seen him/ her debating issues over the past 18 months and to be honest I have not been remotely impressed . A celebrity but my word, politics light . The Labour Party must do better , if that’s the best Labour can do I give up.

Are you still stuck in 2016? On the contrary, those who voted for Brexit are the ones stuck in 2016. On another thread in the politics section, those Brexiteers were invited to come back and say what the advantages were of the 2016 vote and, surprise surprise, no-one answered. I think we are down to 20% in the polls of those that said Brexit was a good thing.

Didn't know at the time, but the PM who promoted Brexit, broke so many promises such as sorting social care and continued to pour money into HS2 was not to be believed.

All hope is lost in Brighton.

I'm a bit late to the party but, although voting Labour (probably) is something of a best-of-a-bad-bunch scenario (suppose that's politics lol), I feel it's even more important given how complacent the Conservatives seem to have become.
I feel it's good for democracy when they are kept on their toes, which I don't think has happened in the last 13 years, with the closest being Jezza C in 2017, and even then he still lost the election.
Look at how many ministers have come and had a crack at the economy, immigration etc - they need to be reminded that it's not a free-for-all, and if they have to languish in opposition as a result, then so be it.
