Attn anti-Tolley brigade: what garbage are you going to spout tonight- the usual stuff about his hair or his gayness or his dead ball kicks. Or maybe you could consider that he has been mis-managed for a couple of years and be thankful that Gary Peters can see something in his football you lot obviously cant. Well played Jamie Tolley

Sedge (shock horror) looked alright today lets not forget how rubbish Darlo were... Having said that I have been impressed with Tolley over the last three games. However the buck cant be passed on the fact that he has failed to improve over the last 2/3 years, Tolley is as much to blame as the coaching staff. But on the positive hopefully Peters will help Tolley improve his finishing, if so we've suddenly got a midfield who will chip in with goals

If our style of play is going to be to use Langmead and Grant? to hold the ball up and lay it back to a midfield player to take forward then we are certainly going to see more goals from young Jamie. Certainly our second today was just like that..lovely one two with someone ??(cannot remember if it was Langmead or Grant)...and Jamie's strolling into the box with the ball

Tolley deserves a big pat on the back for that display. I am sure that GP will spend some time with him going over his performance constructively praising and criticising. GP expects 100% and appreciates those who deliver.

As Peters has said, Tolley has been a prospect too long. With his physique he should be able to boss games both in terms of winning the ball back and using it well. He gets into great positions and should be aiming for 10 goals a season at least. Unfortuantly on one of his all to common off days he seems to fade and never has the effect on the game you feel he should. Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but he always heads the ball when he could bring it down! That is so annoying, because on a day like yesterday (Darlo), he brings it down and uses it excellenly. Don't think its a coincidence that playing with Aiston helps, he's the out ball for the whole side. On a better day he looks like the best midfield player in the league, which it would be nice to see more of.
Interesting that peters said people had had their eyes on him but no-one picked him up.

My two nephews were at the game yesterday (having hardly been before) and their favourite player is now 'the one who looks like a yellow hedgehog'

Nobody doubted Tolley has talent. What was in question was how often he re-produced it. Once every so often is not good enough. Let's have it every week!

That DaveB hasn't a clue. Tolley Folley tosh. He's never been to a game in his life. I think this is a real turning point for Town and we don't need idiots like DaveB putting his 10 pence worth in. Whats the B stand for Dave - b******s!!
