A splendid team performance. GP got the selection absolutely spot on. Grant and Langmead up front were superb together. Leave Granty alone you knockers Tolley scored two good goals and really started to look the "Boss" of the midfield. Big clap for young Dave Edwards. Best I have seen him play and what a strike for number 4. Sammy Aiston gave a great battling display for an hour or so. Was in the right place to score the first and was rightly subbed by GP as he was tiring and losing his cool. Sedge was not that obvious but he worked very hard to complement the other midfielders. At the back the whole line played together as a unit and were all teriffic. Scott Howie did all that wa necessary between the sticks. Difficult to pick a MOM. I will go for three. Whitehead at the back. Tolley in midfield and Langmead up front. Please can we see more of the same against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

A good summary, Langmead worked his arse off up front and really deserved to get a goal - Grant's confidence will also improve after that showing, he worked hard and won a fair few headers.

Grant did have a good game and I wish people would stop knocking him. IMHO I thought he was superb and can only improve with GP backing him. He did all he could and obviously played the role GP told him to. One of the main facts of the post-match interview was how good the two front men were.
Langmead is possibly going to be the signing of the season.
Sedgemoor had the best game I have seen him play for ages - again he fulfilled the role given him by GP.
An excellent all round performance and as long as we keep up this standard we will avoid relegation. The next few results will be vital.
Up the Town.
