Great performance first half and even Granty had a reasonable game. Second half was slow, but non the less acceptable MOM for me goes to Langmead (excellent performance) and Dave Edwards a close second Edwards goal was outstanding. Well done Town same again Saturday please

Kelvin Langmead was outstanding today, the kid does everything Duane Darby doesn't do. He gets better every game and is a great asset to the team.

:)I thought that Langmead was outstaning he works his backside off for the team, both halves we were by far the better side.
::)But how poor were Darlingtons so called big names Hignett, Fleming and Armstrong?

Langmead man of the match for me closely followed by Edwards who probably had his best game for the Town since turning pro. Excellent stuff.

Darlington reminded me of us in our relegation season,a few "big" names who are just there for the last payday as their legs have gone...Jemmo,Woan,Atkins etc etc..

When I heard the names on their teamsheet I thought we'd be in for a football lesson, but their stars never showed. Hignett was a big disappoiontment as I'd rated him since his Crewe days, however he was very much the old pro today, playing neat little balls where it didn't matter.

I thought Fleming was good at the back.

I must admit that the thought about the big names occurred to me as well - in which case Darlo fans may well have something to worry about.
