Three good things i noticed at Bury that those in charge of STFC should take note of.
1) Supporters bar - the half we had we mobbed with Town fans spending lots of dosh on food and drink. Another half was a members area for home fans which i would imagine was equally busy.
2) Club shop - large with excellent range of replica goods and other sports wear - miles better than the pokey effort designed for at the New Meadow.
3) Promoting games - big sign on main road telling you who Bury were playing, must be seen by thousands of locals. Why cant something be done like this on the fences of the Wakeman School, after all they use some of the Clubs car spaces so they owe STFC a favour. Thousands of people must go past the Wakeman School.
Well done to Bury they seem to be a well run club maximising the possibilites for money making and promoting themselves.
