What an amazing 4 years we've had Sponsoring STFC with Tuffins and Montgomery Waters
This is just a note to say a BIG THANK YOU to all at the club who have made our involvement so special..this picture shoot for our Grandkids in 2020 was especially amazing..thank you Andy Tretton for arranging
A very special thanks to supporters who have bought the STFC Tuffins shirts it's been a real privilege to see you around and about in them. And especially at matches home and away it's been incredible.
We've had some amazing experiences and it's been a real privilege whilst Sponsoring to see matches like Bristol City at Home and Liverpool home and away.
For me personally it's been great to meet and make many new friends at the club from the Chairman down and especislly amongst the super fan base there .
We also wish all the new sponsors and new personnel the very best for this and coming seasons .
Most of all we wish the Club ,team and supporters all the very best for 2023/24 and every season after. COYB'S šš§”šš§”šš§”

Oh so that would seem to be the end of that then.
Another new name for the ground presumably.

Itās all beginning to feel a bit sad now.
Does this mean heās not vice chairman any more?
Is RW expecting to rule with his new board of ādirectorsā who are, in fact, employees rather than shareholders?

Thankyou Paul you have always been a great supporter of the club and I hope that continues, itās great to have local businesses involved and you understand the club and supporters. You have always been a great supporter of Roger and I and thatās been a great help. I hope that continues for many years to come

Is RW expecting to rule with his new board of ādirectorsā who are, in fact, employees rather than shareholders? He is still the vice chairman and hopefully retains the position. Need people like him prepared to talk to fans in an open and honest manner. His statement on Facebook has resulted In Lots of positive comments from the town faithful. Most seem to know him and have high praise for him. It would seem a shame he never did get to buy the club as rumoured previously some 2 years ago. His personality would attract other businesses to invest in the club. I hope he continues in his vicr chairman role š

I asked him why the sponsorship came to an end and this was his reply
a better offer came along basically...we are only a small family firm and hopefully you'll get another Jon Nolan/Greg Docherty out of this š

Fair enough if a more lucrative offer of sponsorship came in, but a complete departure from board and sponsorship paints of something more untoward behind the scenes.
Real shame, and a real indicator of the current trajectory of the club.

Still a Director, as things stand. On paper he is, but thatāll change very shortly on companies house unfortunately. Not sure where that information has come from but the truth is this. Paul continues to be vice chairman and won't go anywhere unless asked to !! His business acumen could certainly go a long way in operational business decisions at the club,if Roland listened to those "on the board " particularly as Paul Delves has shown how to communicate with fans...in my opinion!

Our current vice chairman announces on the fans group on Facebook that his two companies are no longer sponsoring the club.

The club have announced the new shirt sponsor, but what about the ground ?
I heard that this has been on the cards since the takeover went south at the start of last season.
I know that the club is a private company and so the owner can do what he wants, but I hope that Delves stays on the Board because the company needs proper independent directors to make sure that it is run properly and call out any wrong doing. Directors stepping down and being replaced with friends of the Chairman is not normally a good sign.

I like the guy. I donāt think I have ever met him but knew some of the family. I know personal and company finances are (or should be) separate entities but if his āsmall family firmā are unable to match a rival sponsor, would he really be in a position to buy out the current owner?

Not so long ago he was being touted as the next possible chairman/owner. Maybe he realised he just didnāt havenāt the capital for it in the endā¦ or there could be another reason, something to do with the chairman perhaps? But I thank him for his sponsorship and support of the club, Montgomery Waters also sponsor the back of the shirts and executive club at Hereford FC, I wonder if they are continuing their partnership with them.

On the thread one of his responses was "Anyway , I'm hoping the new sponsors for the Kit and Stadium have as much fun and enjoyment as we have over the years AND can help bring a little more success , on and off the pitch which is what we ALL WANT of course šš§”šš§”šš§”

He might own a small family firm but has interests with billionaire business connections abroad and several wealthy Shropshire millionaires as friends. Everything has a value whether you're a billionaire or a man in the street. Also He won't be the ground sponsor next year but believe me Paul Delves has the club close to his heart still. He might return as a shirt or stadium sponsor24/25 who knows š¤·
