I haven’t heard anything re. Cotterill leaving, however my sources who are extremely close to former board members also indicate that major sponsors are cutting ties with the club. Roland has upset one too many people now. My source has also alleged we are heading for administration. Make of that what you will.
It looks like we’re in a right mess. Thankfully I haven’t renewed my season ticket.

Roland Wycherley will ruin his legacy by not accepting the offer on the table, sad times.

Would mean a deficit of more than 1.5 million this season…really?

How could some one who runs a club so well lose 1.6 million in a year? And thats with a tiny squad. Even that would leave us even, Most clubs would be pleased with that.

Are you saying it would be good to keep him rather than paying him off and that if he stays and prices rise you won’t be going to games? What is the impossible dream?

I've always said getting rid of a manager is a costly task, I mean look at us in recent years, I was against it last time, I might have mentioned it and why as for his house, he is living in one supplied by the club and to say he is fussy and always wants something doing is an understatement, must be costing an absolute fortune

I don't believe administration is on the cards.
A large deficit and budget cut on the way seems likely and won't help keep Steve Cotterell happy.
The way the club were found out over Brian Caldwell and the whole board announcement is amateurish at best.
The new statement over a director of football seems to indicate a willingness to let Cotterell resign on Monday and save a year's wages as he is under contract.
Cotterell has repeatedly spoke about budgets in the last few weeks. He wont take kindly to an imposed director of football.
As for bids on the table let's hope Roland talks to his people and make an announcement should one need to be made.
I question whether at present RW is making the right decisions in the true interests of the club and its future.
To secure long term investors to take the club forward is what we need.

Plus the club does own the stadium. The Tactician post doesn’t stand up the stadium is an asset, not cash Cash and assets of Shrewsbury Town outstrip debt owed, absolutely zero chance of administrators getting involved. There would be at least 70 clubs before us in the queue for administration if we were at risk.
