As above. Shame I'm guessing he will go on to better things. The guy is absolute class, as typified by his performance last night. Fairly sure him and Saydee will push on to greater heights (and good luck to them).

I thought he was magnificent last night, in and out of possession. Such a class act at this level.
I really hope he goes on to have a fabulous career- he will need to move on from Palace for it to happen I reckon, but you can certainly see him playing Premiership football at some point in the future.
We are lucky to have this view of him for a few months

Agreed wholeheartedly with both posts, he’s arguably been our best player since signing for us.
Not only is he a brilliant footballer, but you can tell he gives absolutely everything for the cause and despite only being here for 4 months would run through a brick wall for his team mates and manager.
Deserves to be playing at a higher level and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on his career with interest and wishing him the best.

Agree with all that has been said other than the Saydee comment. I'm not sure why he is being put in the same regard as Phillips. His main attributes are holding the ball up and working hard but he lacks in other areas. I doubt he will play any higher than league 1.

It's just a shame that we didn't sign him at the start of the season, it's always great to see a class loanee in our starting eleven.
I wish him well.

I thought he had been poor in recent weeks but last couple of games he has got back to the levels we saw in Jan/Feb. Over the years we have had lots of youngsters from clubs above us, they either look out of their depth or look like they don't want to be here, he is the complete opposite.
Whether he makes it at the very top is one thing but he's certainly got enough ability & the right attitude to have a good career in football.

Best loan player since Godfrey.

He has hugely benefitted from the very small squad. Same as Street really. Don't think either would have appeared as much if Bayliss or Udoh was fit. Same as Fornah last season. Barely appeared until David Davis' injury i think and then was undroppable.
Definitely destined for Championship next season, like Fornah did.

he has had a major impact on the midfield, prior to his loan towns midfield was a weak point.

If we ever wanted to spend some money on a young signing this is the one. Buy for 1m sell for 10m plus within couple of years. this guy would be the best investment ever for the town.

Sorry Guys, he is highly thought of at Palace and I have a suspicion he will be in our first team squad next season. Glad his loan worked out well for all concerned.

He won’t be sold by us. Too good a prospect. Why would we let him go to Scumwall? 😂

Now that premier league football is more or less confirmed I'd be surprised if he was first team ready. Think best thing for you guys is decent pre season around first team and loan out to Championship team. Role wise too I think it's hard to fit him into a premier league team at this current stage of development. Not sure able to play in a 2 man midfield pivot but also not sure creative enough to play as a 10

He's done well for us but is nowhere near ready for Premier League football, the next step will surely be a loan to a Championship side

I did not realise he was as young as 21, the sky is the limit for the lad.
The article states that he can play CB, I am glad SC didn't know this!

The article states that he can play CB, I am glad SC didn't know this! he's a big lad too which is what the big sides want from a midfielder I heard a podcast last week and gist was Scott Mctominay was going to be released at united as they had decided he was too small, he was 18 and only 5ft 6 , whatever happened in between 18 months later he was 6ft 4 not sure phillips is quite that big but maybe 6 2 ? he could certainly walk into any championship side this season but may have larger targets, I'd love to hear how we signed him, my hunch was we tried to send street back to free up funds and got refused and palace pity on us and offered us phillips as a freebie instead, however if cotterill came out an announced he headhunter this kid it would certainly raise my view of him, great signing, we had no midfield and then signed KDB, massive difference

Imagine if we’d had him for the whole season…..

He will go onto good things, I’m sure, and wouldn’t be surprised if he was in and around the Palace squad next season. Championship loan at the least.

As with Fornah the season before SC appears to have an eye for a quality midfielder on loan.
