ok there was obviously a bad accident on the m6 and i for one hope it wasn't too bad for the folks involved, but if the team bus left at 10.30 to pick up players on the way surely someone on the bus(if not the driver) must have heard about the upcoming problem on the motorway. We left Whitchurch at 12.15 pm,heard about the problem on the radio and went via the m60 and m66- it can't have been that hard to go another way for the team bus,can it??Or was it a convenient way of getting out of the game because the team we would have fielded would have been even worse than usual? We had a great number of fans in the Bury social club at the ground and we looked bloody silly seeing as we got there ok and the pillocks we support didn't get anywhere near.I apologised to their doorstaff and some of their fans who told me not to be so stupid as it was not my fault ,and true it wasn't-but who was there from the club to apologise properly??Today our club looks comical

I left telford 10:30 heard nothing on all major radio stations 5 live / RS / Radio one until seeing the signs after Stoke. At Stoke vehicals were still allowed to enter onto the M6, if i had gone the Eccleshall road i would be none the wiser ! Was jammed for 2 1/2 hours solid

i left telford at 11-30 an hour after the team bus, they claim to be 4 miles jammed from junc 16 yet an hour later im able to waltz past the place they claim to be stuck? i didnt encounter the traffic they did yet i was an hour later? i left the motorway at juc 15 and detoured via stoke, so why did i not pass the stranded team bus if i came after them?

Yep bus was stuck at Keele, (Between J 15 and J 16). Road closed at J16 means bus was stuck.

What really happened was The Town employed a shuntman yesterday. He deliberately caused the accident so the coach got stuck and was unable to move. The motive behind this was to get the game postponed inorder we could get players fit. I know this sounds b******s but is as much sense as some of you lot are talking.
