I live in Manchester, come home back to Salop for Christmas. (Mk Drayton)
Made the trip to Bury, left at 12.30. Saw there was a queue on M6, so went up a 50/D Road through stoke. Got to Bury at 2.
Had a drink, heard the game was off. Showed my dad my house just down the road and went home.
I wished all along the game would never take place.
At least, I am 20 mins away for the re-arrnaged game.

I saw the A34 was busy at Stone. I wandered why I saw a Shrewsbury fan drive through Loggerheads from Eccleshall.

Not me mate. I got on the A34 at junction 14 after I heard about the accident and the tailback at junction 15. Was going great guns till just past Stone and just stopped Took 2 hours to go a couple of miles all that traffic getting redirected. Still happens

Got to be gutted. Boxing day not the same without watching the Shrews. Bit of a calamity in sorting out travel arrangements (on the positive side no one killed and get to play a stronger team bad luck john grant!)
travelled up through chester why Town going up M6 I have no idea. One rumour I heard is that the Coach went to Walsall to pick up someone first?
Bury fans had been at ground 8.30 moving snow off pitch! Theyve got to be gutted. Fingers crossed we dont get points deducted or big fine!

Having been one of those Shakers fans I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I felt when the incompetence of Shrewsburys arrangements meant all the work was wasted. This was then compounded by the good turn out of Shrews fans, it seems the only people who couldn't get to Gigg were the players and officials. The only luck at Gigg Lane is bad luck just now!
