I see our former player Cosgrove is on the bench for Plymouth today at Wembley in the Checatrade trophy final. And is that Callum Burton as their keeper?
Anyway Bolton just scored after only 4 mins.

I seen the video, about a dozen kids fighting no more than about 16 years old, and then they needed a ambulance and an air ambulance

Grow up comes to mind

I remember us (Tywyn FC) playing Flint Town at home in the Welsh Cup back in the late 70s. There was trouble at that game too, especially at the final whistle. The local police never knew what hit them!

A lot of publicity in the online cycling media today about yesterday’s heroics by ‘the cycling goalkeeper’, which lead to lists of footballers who are enthusiastic cyclists. Nicky Wroe was included but listed as formerly with Barnsley, Torquay and PNE. I have added his most important former club to the list.
A little late to report disappointment suffered by Neil Sorvel, now assistant manager of Altrincham in the semi final of the FA Trophy last week. Alty we’re winning 1-0 at 90 minutes when a Halifax supporter threw a flare onto the pitch. This resulted in a 3 minute delay and when play resumed Halifax equalised with the last kick of added time. They then won the shoot out.
Unsurpringly Alty blamed the flare incident for breaking up their concentration.

I bloody hope the absolute idiot who decided it would be a good idea to chuck a flare onto the pitch is harshly dealt with. I suppose in all honesty he was just trying to generate some atmosphere for all supporters to enjoy . It happens , it even happens at our ground . When things aren’t going your way don’t worry, chuck a flare , that’ll liven things up .

Hat trick today for our former player Jim OBrien for Notts County in their 5-2 win in the National league.
Just hope they can keep the form up through the play offs too.

Asa Hall, now 36, scored both Torquay goals in their 2-2 draw with Alty.

Asa Hall, now 36, scored both Torquay goals in their 2-2 draw with Alty. Almost certain to go down as they didnt win today. Need to beat Wrexham by a big score next week and hope results go their way. Ain't going to happen. Mark Halstead is their keeper as well though I havnt checked if he was playing today.

Just looking at the line ups for the National north play offs. I see Knight-Percival was only on the bench for Kidderminster.
Whilst captain of Alfreton is our old "friend" Matt Rhead, obviously still roughing up keepers at the age of probably 62.
Thankfully our old player had the last laugh as Kiddy won 2-1

Dom Smith signed for Newtown. They don’t half do alright out of us.
At least someone’s benefitting from the academy I guess.
