i think if she had remained her party would have probably got a real thrashing in the next elections, Not so sure about a thrashing but maybe there is something in that, jumped before she was pushed as it were. The polls seem to suggest so anyhow. But saying that. It does appear that an awful lot of world leaders (if not all) who were responsible for the pandemic response have had a lot of criticism thrown their way and their popularity has been hit as a result. And I do also think that it would have taken its toll on plenty considering the demands and pressure that came with managing the pandemic. No surprise she talks of burnout.

Awful woman. Another totalitarian dictator idolised by the left in this country. Not by me B12 and I am as 'left' as you get IF you actually believe in the false Left/Right dichotomy. I actually believe that it is just another divide and rule tool. There is no Left/Right but there is a Top/Bottom.

She certainly raised New Zealand's standing on the world stage. she was very popular among the woke / liberal spectrum of political partys, her popularity went from 70% to -1 ,her agricultural policys were hugly unpopular, a rise in lawlessnes in a previously low crime country, her promise to build 100,000 social houses but only built 1,000 are just a few reason why voters turned against her.
