A party on monday too, even better Quote from the Bury Evening News "The first team squad were due to hold their Christmas get-together in Manchester on Monday night. Swailes' dismissal means he will miss the Shrewsbury game on Boxing Day, along with fellow centre-back Colin Woodthorpe, who sits out his final game of a three match suspension".

No strikers for Town, no central defenders for Bury sounds like a 0-0 to me!

No strikers for Town, no central defenders for Bury sounds like a 0-0 to me! If I was going it would definately by 0-0. Been to Bury 3 times and that has been the score in each game, even when we played 76 minutes with 10 men. Only Football League ground of the 110+ I have been to and never seen a goal on.

Bury must be one ground I have been to more times than most, and wins don't spring to mind except 1994, 2-0 down and won 3-2 Been going since 1968 when they beat us on Good Friday. Theyt went up, we finished 3rd In 79 they beat us 3-0, they went down and we won the league It was semi final day, I remember thinking we might have been playing Arsenal that day FA CUP on a very foggy night so we got there late - draw or defeat ? I remember one game being cancelled. 10 of us ordered meals in the pub, and they waited until they were paid for before before saying " do you know the game is off ? Good pub though
