Well has been mentioned it was quite a night!!!!
Evening was kicked off by my self with the first pint in the Dun Cow! With several running late it was up to Jules and my self to secure the B and A area, quickly joined by TY and faginy. The latter carrying the laminated dise game sheet that was to prove so popular, and Ty bring a lovely Yellow Swat band (well Phill T liked it!!)
Rules explained Groover joined the part along with navy mate Tricky Dicky(confusing when the orginal Tricky (Gez ASFC manager tunred up!!)) He cam with the Thomas Twins and about the same time Trenners and Huddy stumbled in!!! Food was orderd!!! The messed me about but everyone else got served!!! More discussion on the rules of the drinking game then off to the next pub - ( the nags head was too busy so it was the Lion and tap). The scanks of the ASFC Tricky and the Thomas made an early stop for fast food, booooo to them
Liam and the other Liam (ha kept getting them confused all night so why stop now!!!) also join the early shift!
With the main festivitys kicking off at 7.30 in the the party headed up there where the numbers were swelled bu Dunny, Carter, Raymondo, Andy D, Dave Owen, PC, Rach, Edgie, Carlos, scooter, Wynnie, the nubers headed towards 20!!!! Witht he first roles of the dise it was the unfortunaty Jules and Carter who ended up with the horrendus Car bomb/cement mixer, with strange drinks like Red Wine and Brandy being ordered the bar man wondered what the hell was going on!! With so many people the moves to the next pub were done in groups, and eventually everyone made it to the OPO, where Gal, Giles, Pete downey and Jemma, Muzza joined us. More dise more bad drinks with the classic debut of Pete D in the game rolling a double 6 the worst drink in the game!!! I followed up the wine with a malibu - people begain to wonder about the amount of girly drinks i had been given!!! The Thomas and tricky round continued there good luck with rolling for 3rd bottle of alco pops in a row - there luck would not last!!! Turns out Chris Wynn was not joking about his fines for drinkers and proceeded to fine us all 2 quid!!!!
At this point im pretty sure Andy davis thrashed Ant at pool, a few of us got taken to the cleaners by the fruity and Tricky D looked a bit ill after he had a car bomb!!!
Next a trip to the Exchange, the highlight of which was trenners walking into a post and faling over, though it was not untill later we noticed that the lad was limping badly and he was quite hurt!!! With the party numbering over 30 now - with hangers on and other people we knew - the PLO (party liasion officers) were having a hard time keeping control.
The exchanged provided another oppertunirty to roll, with most getting an easy round, apart from TY and his white wine!!! It was busy in the X so it was not long before we were heading to Loyds for more games and beer, finally ant and phill's luck run out and the got Aftershocks 2 times in a row!!!!!! have that!!! although this was where the loaded dise controversy stemed from as so many 6's were thrown that it was statisticly strange - the case remains unsoved!!!!
Kings Head next with the beer lag kicking in the struggle could be seen on many faces!
After anther 10 mins warning it was time for an early visit to liquid where the queues were already massive at 10.45. A bit of creative pushing in ment most of the b and a crew (+ mrs shone jnr who had also pushed in!!!!) got further up the queue than really should have!!! Eventually all got in and surveyed the landsscape. Not a underestimation to say that there were so many people in there that you knew it was one of the best nights of the years as you just kept bumping into people you knew!!!! Amazing.
The night continued, many fell ealry (faginy as he had to open the shop today - god only know how that went) and muzza was in and out pretty quick as well. Down to the last and me and groover will still rolling the dise at 1.45 - the last men standing!!! 2 Am all out onto the road where edgie had fun with a bollard befor giving it as a crimbo present to the man who works in the take away on mardol!! Lots of controversal stuff going on out side liquid that will remain unprinted (for now!!) but it certianly was not a night with out scandle and incident
Crimbo good byes were made hugs and kisses exchange and all wondered off into the night some alone to find just where the live - they might not have all made it back!!!
Thankfully the now crippled trenners had had the for sight to book a taxi - thank the gods which got me back to monty bridge!!!!
What a night - amazing turn out and just a whole heap of fun!!!! Cant wait till next year!!!!
Merry Crimbo - as me and carter said last night during one deep and meaningfull - its night like last night that make suporting the town one of the best things you can do!!!!
