Director of Football, Chris Wynne today announced there will be no alcoholic drinks consumed by playing members of the ASFC at tonights Christmas outing.

"We have a very important supporters game at Bury in less than 4 days time" he said.

"If the first team can forgo their Christmas do, then I don't think it will harm the lads of ASFC to follow suit. They gave up their right to enjoy Christmas, when they elected to play for the supporters side. They know they have two difficult and important games coming up in the next few days."

And to show he was totally serious in his intentions, Wynne revealed that anyone caught with an alcoholic drink in their hand would be heavily fined.
