How on earth have they set up such a brilliant camera?

Lockdown has turned me into a bit of a 'twitcher' so I'm suddenly fascinated by stuff like this.
There's a wealth of wildlife where I've recently moved to but I still struggle to identify anything other than a blackbird, blue tit or buzzard.
Thanks for sharing.

How on earth have they set up such a brilliant camera? I imagine in the off season when they migrate. Ospreys migrate to West Africa for the winter, covering up to 5,000 km during their journey. Autumn migrations can be as short as 13 days of continuous flight. The female typically begins her migration first, leaving the nest and her young shortly after they are fledged.

How on earth have they set up such a brilliant camera? My uncle has a large plot of land near Uttoxeter and he has set up several barn owl boxes with cameras in that shows up some brilliant views of the inside that he can watch in his wooden chalet on site. He had a few minutes on Counntry File a few years ago.

12:47 at the father returns.
This is great TV.
Much preferable to Big Brother and all those other dreadful candid camera shows.

Proper reality TV. Fabulous stream. Your correct but sometimes reality’s a bit of a shock. Spring watch have got cameras on Golden and White Tailed Eagles nests in Scotland. Bit of a surprise when they found the parents were raiding a Kestrals nest for chicks to feed their youngsters. Only taking one at the time to keep the others ‘fresh’… Natures not always nice to watch.

Feeding time today was quite a spectacle.
I'm not entirely sure what fish they had but it was definitely big enough for seconds and thirds.

Only taking one at the time to keep the others ‘fresh’… Natures not always nice to watch. Too true. I saw a crow in our garden recently with a young blackbird in its beak. I know I shouldn't intervene but the fledgling was alive and I couldn't leave it. I picked it up (wearing gloves) and it breathed quietly for a while before dying. I'd like to think it had a slightly kinder end to its tiny life than if I'd left it. It's bloody harsh out there!

10:32 today was my favourite moment of the series so far 🤣
Reading the comments it looks like the fledglings are due for "ringing" today.
Does anyone know how they do that?
