Yeah nice story that.......if we had the details!!! I was thinking of ringing club and asking (pref GP) whether Trev Challis was playing on Saturday which would determine if I go to Bury or not. However with new signing and my (at times) stupid love/addiction I'm off to the Mecca of Manchester football anyway. SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALOP

That's truly awesome! Don't think anyone can question his commitment when he's prepared to directly speak to a dissatisfied customer. Don't think i've ever heard of any other manager doing that kind of thing

Perhaps GP threatened to send Alan Rivers to "have a word" with the fan if he failed to get behind the team? Either that or he's bringing Roony in on loan from Man U

Ian Hollaway invited some QPR fans into his office to "discuss" the problems with his then team. He left the offer open to any other QPR fans. On another occassion he told QPR fans to punch the person next to them if they were booing or not being positive, and also threatened to punch them himself
