First name on the team Sheet??

Well Stuck back in work after being called in and have to wait 30 mins for some work to run before I can go home!!

So just wondering where you place the current Squad in order of names on the team sheet, it can be for any reason, how good they are, how much you like or dislike a player, there worth to the club ect – just rank the players at the club in order of who is first name on the team sheet?

Heres my list

1) Moss (Consistancey- and good step overs)
2) Rodgers (Raw ability when produced)
3) Street (Class on the ball in midfield)
4) Astion (Great to watch)
5) Whitehead (solid at the back)
6) Howie (One of our more solid keepers in the last 20 years)
7) Tolley (At his best one of the best in league 2 - needs more consistancey)
8) Langmead ( a good start from the Jemo esk Forward)
9) Darby (DDAS - no more required )
10) Smith (Best midfilder at the club - but to prone to injurys)
11) Oconner ( is ther one last indian Summer left in him??)
12) Walton (Undoubted good defender - but just a bit thick and northern for me)
13) Burns ( The future partner for Whitehead?)
14) Ridler ( Frozen out poss Right back replacement)
15) Edwards (not kicking on as he can ... yet)
16) Tinson ( legs have gone head not far behind)
17) Lowe (way to incosistant for my likeing)
18) Challis (head and heart not in it at the moment, long way off best form)
19) Sedgemore ( NEVER A LEAGUE PLAYER IN A 100 YEARS)
20) Grant (hahahahahahahah 6 yard headers)
21) Ashton (not really done anything yet!)
22) Stevens (though he might have had a chance by now)
23) Hart ( very replacable)
24) Murrey (young and untested)
25) Briggs (what the Fook is he doing here!!!)

personally i'd put howie at number 1, then moss, rodgers, street, aiston

Priceys list was pretty much the same as I would have said with the following exceptions:

1. Howie - First rate keeper probably the best we've had in the last 10 years (sorry eagle your still a legend )
2. O'Connor - Does all the simple things well a shinning example to the younger players. A real pro.
3. Whitehead - Versitile and consistent. First rate.
4. Moss - Aggresive (sometimes way too aggresive) and you need that in a team. Always gives 100%.
5. Street - Can't fault his workrate and always looks comfortable when playing in central midfield, like O'connor does the simple stuff well. Good no-nonsense player.
6. Walton-Still think he deserves a decent chance-he was'nt match fit when we signed him, Quinn played him in a strange formation-yeah he is aggresive but like Moss when properly controlled aggression can be an bonus. The fact he was my favorite player as a kid has nowt to do with this decision ;D

Festival gets it right again.

Cmon Pricey. The first name up has to be Howie. Under no Pressure at all. In fact we only have him that you would consider playing in the first team, so unless he has a broken neck he has to be first in.

Closely followed by.

Whitehead, Consistent and trustworthy to do a good job and cover for others shortfalls.

Aiston and Lowe, If only cos we aint got any other wide men.

Moss, dependable and consistent.

Langmead, cos he is tall.

Rogers, cos he works hard.

The rest you can get rid of and not lose sleep over. They are conference players who should go back to the conference with another team, not the town.

Either streety or O'Connor here is no real need to play them both in central midfield, would rather have Tolley in there with one of them as he gets up and down the pitch a bit more ofton.

Smith is a non starter, he's out for the rest of the season!!!!

Yes, Eagle you are a legend. I can still remember the howlers you used to let in 3 or 4 times a season - despite that you were not a bad keeper. That said I'm sure you can see that Howie is far more consistent and only rarely are the goals he conceeds down to him.
