Facts are facts!
Seriously, of course we would swap places with your league status, but surely you would swap everything else. Apart from the fact we’re in non-league, everything else about what’s going on at our club must make us the envy of every club outside the championship. The exposure is off the scale for a club our size. Come on, you’d love it if this was happening to your club. R&R are such decent people, look at how they share their wealth elsewhere. They want to do good. We’re so lucky to have them.
Just need promotion.

Come on doctor. I had you down as better than that. Try comparing eggs with eggs, placing yourselves in a group with Liverpool, City etc is just laughable. You are doing well in non-league,and about time too,but you are still miles away from ourselves at the moment I honestly think we’re in a better place than you off the pitch. Also think we’d be more than a match for you on it. Just my opinion.

Hang on MartinB it’s hardly a sugar daddy situation. A modest investment followed up by a significant increase in turnover to make them sustainable. Sounds exactly what we need.

That’s right, they’re not investing anything but time and reputation.

The next set of Wrexham club accounts will certainly be interesting one way or the other. I look forward to seeing them when released.

That’s right, they’re not investing anything but time and reputation. this is nothing more than a TV reality show they are renting your film location, your cast and you are playing one of the extras they obviously talked a couple of celebs to purchase the club for nothing, and are now covering their costs and paying them a retainer to show up twice a season for a photo shoot and as soon as the going gets tough, they will be decommission the show and move on all a bit Mickey Mouse and coming to the Disney channel soon

Do some research and see just how much they’re investing in the community. Think I’ll ignore and let this story unfold.

If you sit back and think about it you do have to wonder why two Hollywood types bought a crumby club in a crumby location, then talk it up like they have never seen a soccer pitch (or a crumby location)?

Far too many clubs have gone tits up big time once the backers have pulled out, which they will undoubtedly at some point in the future. The obvious one was Notts County about 10 years ago but there are plenty of others around too. Whilst I would like to see our Chairman, or his successor when it happens find some way to increase our budget a little i would rather stay as we are than change to the pantomime happening over the border. IF they stay around long enough for you to finally get back into the FL and move up the divisions then enjoy it as it happens Because no way is it sustainable.

Another Wrexham winner scored in extra time.
How many of those have there been?
Thank goodness Stockport keep winning.

They are certainly pulling results out in injury time recently, mark of a side going well. Stockport v Wrexham on penultimate weekend of the season, hopefully will all be over bar the shouting by then. Be nice to see Stockport picking up the trophy at this game 🙂

However annoying I find it, I have to admit that the way Wrexham fight to the very last minute is actually quite impressive. How many times have scored last minute winners or equalisers this season? Even when they've conceded early they never seem to give up, even when 5 - 2 down against the bottom of the league. Credit where credit is due Parkinson is certainly getting the best out of his players.
Can't see them turning over what is effectively a 9 point (when taking goal difference into account) deficit though and I really hope they get done in the play-offs with a last minute goal.

Stay as you are rather than move forward? Fair enough. You’re all totally misreading R&R. They get our club and what we’ve been through with dodgy owners. They fully appreciate the fact that they are custodians, in the same way as Roland is with STFC. Leave it in a better position than you found it, can’t ask for more. R&R have massive investors waiting to join in. They’re running the club on its income, not putting a penny in of their own money. What exactly is there to dislike?

Struggling to beat Dover and eastleigh---- the 'burst' will come, and at the wrong time for them--- the play- offs On the money as ever, Chirk. Talk about being selective with the facts. ‘Struggled to beat’?? As opposed to drawing or losing to them? 🤣🤣👍 We’ve lost once since Christmas, and in that time beaten Stockport, Halifax, Chesterfield, Notts C, Grimsby and Boreham Wood (twice). Of course we’ll lose at some point, but perhaps not this season.

I've just come in. I'm going out on the terrace with a drink! Houston Control Center we have touched down safely! That win sent our fans off this planet. Especially after Dover, Barnet etc. We're dancing and doing hand stands against the walls. It's unbelievable! Great result. We really don't give up. How many times have we come back from being behind? 9 home wins on the trot. Eastleigh got exactly what they deserved for diving, time wasting and theatrics. And the same applied to Dover. It wasn't the best of performances today. We weren't as sharp as normal. But hey! Barcelona don't win every game these days. These results are more the impressive because everyone wants to beat us. They raise their game and tret it like a cup final. Some of the referees do as well. 9163. It speaks for itself. Absolutely massive. Stockport were expected to beat Southend. We watched the game. Southend were bad. I expect Stockport to drop points v Chesterfield, Notts etc. We're where we want to be. It's on. We're title contenders. We had 1500 more than County. 7,738 (371 Southend). It's not brilliant The title race is far from over

reminds me of the season we went up to league one
we did our bit towards the end but swindon were so far ahead it was annoying that we couldn't close the gap
looks like wrexham are heading for the play off lottery, hope they are not banking on 2 90+ minutes to pull them through those or it could be another disastrous season in the non league

Bank holiday games: Wrexham Solihull Moors H Altrincham H Stockport Grimsby A Solihull Moors H Solihull Moors are unbeaten in their last 15 National League games. We’ve won 22 of the last 27, and 10 consecutive home victories. Saying that, you know what you’re going to get with Solihull. A truly vile football team who can take gamesmanship to a whole new level.
